C36 ROSA 2

Sigh..!!! Rosa was something else. As expected, she was on another mission. I wonder what she had gone to retrieve this time. She loved beautiful, rare and shiny things. All her missions revolved around collecting stuff like that. Rosa always worked for her own benefits.

***Two hours later***

"Sia, darling I've missed you so much". She rushed to hug me as she stepped into the VIP section of the bar. My, my old habits die hard. I let her hug me as long as she wanted. It had been a while and I did miss her.

"My Rose. I missed you too. So what did you bring me this time baby girl". I asked with a teasing look. I knew she had gotten me something. She'd never come with out.

"I'm glad you asked darling". She said as she whipped out a box wrapped in black velvet. Gosh she was so dramatic, but I loved it anyway. She opened the box and I was surprised to see a 18 carat black Opal. Hells this ring was so rare and I felt that it had a magical force attached to it. She smiled and then took my hands and slipped it into my fingers. By the goddess. She was the best friend one could ever ask for. Not because of how expensive the gift was, she knew how much I wanted this stone. I had searched the human realm but it was rare to find. How stressful ".

"Hope you like it my Queen. And yes, the magical pulse you feel in it is my life force". I almost staggered back in shock.... You just don't give out your life force. It was your mate who did that and not just a friend. But Rose was neither. She was best friend I had in the world and would not hesitate to kill for. But this was too much. I made a motion to remove the ring but it was stuck on my finger.

I looked at her with a confused look. She shrugged and said, "oh I just attached a little forbidden magic to it. You can never take it off. And the day it falls of, just know that..... Oh well, I've gone to be with the goddess but that's not possible. There are no witches so hahaha no one's dying ok??

I felt so emotional. "Rosa, this is too much".

"Nope it isn't My Queen and besides you deserve it darling. Reagan is lucky you're alive and well or else. He's dead meat". I nearly laughed. Damn Rosa had that uncanny ability. She could crack a joke that would crack you up even at your worst moments.

"Hahaha well I'm doing fantastic Rosa and let's have a drink. There are a lot of things we have to catch up on". We both sat and begun to have a chat.

"So hold on love?? You're trying to tell me that the curse finally stretched it hands and Aurora's mate is ... A human, weak, little, cute and not a mean bone in her is supposed to fulfill it??? Not to mention that this same girl's sister is the seer and is destined to die soon. And if we don't time things right, we might as well bring the doom of both worlds???

Hells why is fate so cruel. It never gives the tasks to the strong. It's the weak that end up being chosen to fulfill such delicate prophecies. Now question..... Where do you want to fit me into this Sia?? I know you need my help with something. This is just too much for you to handle alone". Well Rosa always caught on fast. I did need her more than ever.

"Well I know it might go against your policies and everything but... I want you to take Mirabelle as your student. Not just in physical strength and training but also in the dark arts and light magic. I believe she has magical bases and two years aren't enough but still. We have a war coming. If this isn't handled.... " I looked at Rosa pleadingly

" Sigh..!!! We both know that..... Arrrgh forget it. I can't say no. But you said you haven't told her about the world of the supernatural?? How will she believe me. I can't just walk up to her and tell her. "

"That's where another thing comes in darling. Lying. You see I'm not supposed to know about all of this. So you will just show her and offer to teach her. But don't sound so desperate. She has to learn. I know she has an entity surrounding her. I just need to find out what it is. She is no normal human. " I must have sounded so weary because Rosa said nothing more and just nodded her head.

"Thank you so much my Rose. This is something we have to sacrifice a lot on. I hope you're up for it darling?? " I asked her one more time...

"Are you kidding me love?? I can never say no and there is nothing I love more than making the weak become strong. She will sweat and suffer but.... She become the most powerful person there can be. I will see to it. Now stop talking about all this. I've missed you so much baby girl. What do you have for me after all this time??"

I looked at Rosa. Damn she was cunning. She already knew that I had nothing on me but she s decided to ask anyway. Well I'll see what she wanted.

"Since you don't have anything.... How about a peck Mmm. Huhh what was that about?? She was being silly again. I leaned in and pecked her on the cheeks without a second thought. She blushed furiously and I smirked. Hehehe I knew the effect I had on Rosa. While I had a mate I loved to bits Rosa was a special person. We had been through hell and high water together and came out alive. At some point, people thought we would turn out to be mates but then Reagan came along. She was not happy with it but she grew used to it but it never separated or made us hate each other. What we had was special.

"Well that was a surprise baby girl. Hehe time to dance the night away..... I know the perfect place. Fantastic blood wine, music.... Even the Queen must loosen up a bit and no need to say it. Nothing reckless. We both know how much you love Reagan.."

I grinned in delight. She knew just what I needed. Time for some girl fun. We had a party to rock.
