C38 PAIN

I felt a rush of air and before I knew it, a iron bracelet was slapped on my arm..

"Huhh what was this??". I gazed at my uncle in shock as he still remained in the position her was before. I tried taking off the bracelet but to no avail. I could feel my anger rising.

"Oh no need to throw a fit Princess. As for that bracelet, consider it a part of you now. You can not part with it. It has properties of both light and dark magic. Try to tamper with it and you will feel pain like you have never experienced". I was in shock. Why??? Was it because of my feeding. Why was I restrained with this. I looked at him and decided to test his theory. I injected a bit of light magic with my fingers. Instantly I felt a the bracelet pulse and a glow from it spread all around my body. I stared at Uncle Raymond with a smirk and was about to laugh but I was surprised to see him already sitting and serving himself tea. He said only one word "enjoy yourself princess". And "whoosh" I felt the pain hit me like a raging flood. I screamed but it seemed to relieve nothing. I could feel my insides burning up as if I had been cursed.

"Ahhhhhh. Ah, ah, ah". I spat out a mouthful of blood. I wanted this to end.

"Uncle please, help me". I begged

"My, my now why should I do that?? Did I not warn you not too?? I see you're no longer as smart as you used to be and instead of trying to find out more about the bracelet, you wanted to take it off immediately. Sigh...!!! Looks like the rituals took the smart Aurora away with it".

"Ahhhhhhh, what the fuck was he saying....!!! I was in pain and here he was blabbering??". I felt so much anger but then a rational part of me was screaming to calm down. I breathed in and noticed that the pain had calmed but not so much... That was it...!!! I felt a burst of rage again just thinking of how uncle treated me. And I felt an unimaginable pain. And then I saw the darkness take over.

***Raymond's POV ****

"Tsk, tsk". I almost couldn't believe my eyes. And now I was mad at my sister. I knew it was dangerous to try and tame a vampire in its vampiric state but anything was better than an idiot. I was so going to give Ambrosia and earful when ever I spoke to her or saw her next. This version of my niece was something I'd never dream of in my entire life. Acting so reckless and stupid. I took a look at her, still annoyed but I carried her and teleported to her room. The pain must have made her pass out. She'll recover soon and I could only hope she would not do anything stupid. Because this bracelet had an adverse effect. The dark magic connected to her mate's soul and so whenever Aurora felt any severe pains, he mate would be disturbed. Luckily she won't feel the same as well so it was a risk worth taking. He had to restrain Aurora from destroying the family name. Or else should those sneaky elders come for them, we were all as good as dead.

*** Mirabelle's POV***

"Uhhh, Aurora, Aurora, Aurora.. Aurora...!!!!". I feel off my bed as my mates name left my mouth. I felt so weak and distressed. Was something happening to Aurora?? I touched the mark and I felt a tinge of pain. But it soothed immediately. Oh hells what was going on?! I looked at the clock on the bed side table and saw it was a bit after 6 in the morning. I got up from the floor and almost cursed loudly. Jeez I fell too hard. I'd never sleep at the edge of the bed next time. I had a really long day ahead of me. I had to prepare

After a shower and breakfast, I looked through my closet for what to wear. "Arrrgh" I had nothing reasonable on me till I remembered. "Aha Natashe and I went shopping yesterday". Shoot I must have forgotten the bags in the sitting room. I rushed yo get them and I found myself trying on clothes I'd never believed I'd wear. In the end, I settled for a short black body hugging dress and a black mafia coat over it. I loved to slay on black. I was my favourite colour. I was a bit puzzled on what to do with my hair when I heard the doorbell ring. "Huhh who could it be??". I rushed to the door and opened it. Oh it was Natashe.

"Good morning Mira. I know 8 is a bit too early to drop in but I figured you'd need help with your hair and makeup".

"Oh my god. You're a life saver Natashe. Do come in. My hair and makeup need a lot of work". I stared at her as she walked in.

"Let's go to my room. There's a full view mirror. I wanna see the whole process and you've gotta help me with my shoes as well. Arrrgh I hate dressing up". She looked at me and chuckled. I grabbed her hand and led her to my room. Time to prepare for war. Lol😂😂
