As these words materialized before Lin Bei, his eyes narrowed in recognition. He recalled from his past life a formidable team that had ventured deep into Lanxi Valley and battled a unique Lord. They had claimed that after slaying it, apart from acquiring two pieces of equipment, they found nothing more. Subsequently, they would return to defeat it each time it resurrected, only to find the loot diminishing with each kill. After their fifth victory, they left empty-handed, their frustration deterring them from returning.

Now, Lin Bei sensed a striking resemblance between that Lord and the White Ape Vajra before him. Could it be the same creature? Gripping the Blade of God tightly, his expression shifted with resolve.

Suddenly, the White Ape Vajra's blood-red eyes flared with murderous intent. It sprang into action, its palm cutting through the swirling mist towards Lin Bei. Reacting in a flash, Lin Bei executed the Z-shaped Step just as the Vajra's fist thundered against the earth, evading the blast wave with precision.

He halted momentarily, then spun around to the Vajra's flank, brandishing the Blade of God. Unleashing the Blazing Fire Blade, he struck fiercely at the creature's waist, inflicting a series of devastating blows that dealt double damage.

Lin Bei's lips curled into a slight smile, ready to continue his onslaught. But the White Ape Vajra, enraged, let out a roar that sent the fog churning, repelling Lin Bei with its sheer force. It then launched a furious assault, fists flying in a barrage of Vajra Rushing Fists.

"The White Ape Vajra has unleashed eighteen consecutive Vajra Rushing Fists. Dodge carefully!" the system warned. "Attention: Each hit from the Vajra Rushing Fist will immobilize the player for one second, with each subsequent punch dealing 20% more damage than the last."

Heeding the warning, Lin Bei refrained from confronting the Vajra head-on and instead summoned the Charm Rabbit. With a graceful appearance and a pink aura, the Charm Rabbit immediately cast its Disdain, drawing the Vajra's attack to itself. It then teleported, leaving behind a quintet of afterimages that the Vajra struck in vain.

"The White Ape Vajra's defense is reduced by 85% for six seconds," announced the system. Seizing the moment, Lin Bei charged in as the effects of the Vajra Rushing Fist subsided. With the Charm Rabbit's distraction, he aimed the Blade of God at the Vajra's rear, significantly reducing its HP.

Now with only 15% of its defense remaining, Lin Bei found himself poised to easily conquer the beast. But as the Charm Rabbit vanished, the Vajra, free from its fiery assault, counterattacked with renewed vigor, its HP now halved.

In a fury, the White Ape Vajra roared, drawing the surrounding mist into its body, its white-furred fists igniting with a crimson glow. "The White Ape Vajra is charging up its Tyrant Ape Earthshaker. All players, beware!" the system alerted. "Friendly Reminder: The Vajra will strike the ground 32 times with its Earthshaker. The first punch deals 120% of its attack power, with each subsequent punch increasing in lethality by 5%. All enemies will be stricken with fear."

Lin Bei knew he had to withstand this formidable attack but pondered his next move. Without hesitation, he directed the Charm Rabbit, which leapt into the air and hovered above the Vajra, performing a mesmerizing dance.

"Your Charm Rabbit is attempting to control the White Ape Vajra with the Puppet Rabbit Dance!"

"Quick Tip: The Charm Rabbit's move has a 32% chance of success!"

"Congratulations! Your Charm Rabbit has successfully subdued the White Ape Vajra. The White Ape Vajra won't be able to unleash its Tyrant Ape Earthshaker anymore!"

With the alert chiming in, two glowing threads descended from above, landing on the White Ape Vajra.

The White Ape Vajra, in the midst of charging up a powerful attack, shuddered. Its fists changed from red to white as it joined the Charm Rabbit in a dance high in the void.

The sight was hilariously absurd!

Lin Bei burst into laughter and kept targeting the White Ape Vajra's waist and rear!

But with the White Ape Vajra dancing, Lin Bei found it hard to aim.

No big deal, though!

The important thing was he was still dealing damage.

Once the White Ape Vajra's HP fell to 40%, the Rabbit Dance's effect wore off. The Charm Rabbit vanished, entering a 15-second cooldown.

Lin Bei was back to facing the White Ape Vajra solo.

After the last Rushing Fist, the cooldown for Charm Rabbit Summoning ended.

And the Charm Rabbit reappeared!

The White Ape Vajra's HP dropped visibly!

No matter how fierce the White Ape Vajra's attacks, Lin Bei remained unscathed!

Before he knew it, the White Ape Vajra's HP hit zero!

It roared in fury, its rage shaking the very air!

The white mist swirled into chaos before surging back into the White Ape Vajra.

The creature's body transformed, muscles bulging wildly, blood-red veins exposed.

The mist shifted from white to crimson.

Then, the earth cracked, and a fearsome aura burst forth from the White Ape Vajra!

"The White Ape Vajra is unleashing its Fury Outburst, entering a Berserk State!"

The White Ape Vajra was in a frenzy!

Lin Bei jolted and quickly distanced himself from the beast!

He then summoned the Charm Rabbit, which performed the Puppet Rabbit Dance.

Alas, the skill failed!

The White Ape Vajra charged, swinging its fist with ferocity!

Lin Bei, in a desperate move, executed a Z-shaped Step to flee.

It never landed a hit on him. But on its fourth punch, Lin Bei's timing was off, and he took a hit, losing 1257 HP!

The pain was intense!

Had Lin Bei's defense not been doubled, he would've suffered even more damage.

Jolted to his senses, Lin Bei commanded the Charm Rabbit to use Charm Rabbit's Disdain.

To his dismay, it was ineffective against the BOSS in its absolute berserk state!

The White Ape Vajra's fifth punch not only hit Lin Bei but also sent him flying, costing him 2013 HP!

When Lin Bei picked himself up, he was down to just 130 HP!

Had he not activated the Five-clawed Golden Dragon Descending, he might have been finished. That would've been a blow to his reputation.

But he made it through.

The White Ape Vajra failed to finish off Lin Bei and collapsed onto the earth.

A silver glow engulfed it.

Lin Bei took his medicine and proceeded to use All Things Psychic.
