C7 Seven

It has been two Days since Saafa had been released under bail. My dad had made sure that the police man who had been rude to him looses his job.

Presently I was in front of saafas new room, my dad had her room changed.

I knocked on the door and it was immediately opened by a gloomy looking Saafa,

"hey" I smiled awkwardly at her, my cousin was indeed in pain. She is on bail but she isn't allowed to go outside the country, state or even school, until the case is unraveled.

"heza I am innocent" she gave me a bone crushing hug in tears.

"I know, Don't cry" I broke the hug and let myself into the room

"I brought you food" I said almost in a whisper.

"I am not hungry" Saafa mumbled.

"Saafa, you didn't kill the girl, so you have nothing to be scared of. Now eat abeg" I sat on her bed and started opening the flask Which was filed with fried rice and chicken.

"You don't understand Heza, this is more than the death of Charlotte" she said.

"what do you mean?, And also how did she die?" I asked a question that has been eating me up.

"she was injected poison and the poison was found on my bed" Saafa said.

"omg" I mouthed.

"And it's not as easy as it looks, there is more to this" she mumbled.

"I know" I whispered "You just have to be strong, this battle is not only yours but mine. I promise to help you, I'll prove your innocence Saafa, I promise" I said whilst holding her hands.

"Thank you" she whispered.

"Now come and eat ooo, I am hungry" I said and she chuckled and sat next to me.

"Did you cook this?" she asked.

"Nope, I ordered it" I said while picking up a chicken from the plate.

"When will you learn how to cook?" she scooped a spoon full of rice and ate it.

"When I get married" I said and she nodded pitifully.

"you are not serious" she spanked my arm and I sticked my tongue out making her chukle.

In thirty minutes, we were done eating. I arranged my Shayla on my head and decided to leave because I had a class.

"Saafa, I'll come see you in the evening. I have a class right now"i said and she nodded. I hugged her warmly before leaving.

I took a keke to the faculty of medicine where I headed straight to the Bio103 class.

My brain was clouded with thoughts, one was about Saafa. I wonder what is going to happen if the case is not unraveled, I pray all goes well and I most certainly will help in saving my cousins dignity.

"Good Afternoon sir" All the students choroused which got my attention.

The lecturer had walked in and the lecture begun in not less than a sec. The class was interesting and that sorta helped me get over my tormenting thoughts.

The lecture was over and the lecturer left us with a bulky assignment. I really do hate him and his Annoying Assignments.

I dragedd myself out of the class and decided to head back to the hostel, I needed to freshen up.

On my way to the hostel, a voice startled me "Heza" I turned around to find a smiling Kamal walking over to me. A smile formed on my lips at the sight of him, I am really indebted to him because he helped me allot when Saafa was arrested.

"Kamaludeen" I said happily.

"How are you?. and please don't call me kamaludeen, Its kamal" he said and I chuckled.

"okay okay, and i am fine" I said.

"how's your cousin?" he asked.

"she's good, thanks for last time" I said.

"it's my pleasure, what are friends for" he smiled.

"Abbi, thanks sha" I said "okay I'll have to go now though, I need to go see my cousin" I added.

"okay, tell her i said hi" he said and I nodded with a smile before we parted ways.

I walked in full pace to my hostel and Glory be to God, I arrived safely. Just as I was about to step into the gates of my hostel, a notification popped on my phone screen so I decided to check it.
