C19 CHAPTER 19

Caroline's POV

I could barely sleep that night.

Everytime I close my eyes, I relive the kiss. The way his lips moved against mine, the way his warm hands. The way I didn't want him to stop…. Until he did.

Then he had the audacity to apologize like it was a mistake.

Like I was a mistake.

I groaned, burying my face in the pillow.

This is why I shouldn't have gone to that dinner
