C5 The Challenge

At this time, Elder Zhang was unable to hold on any longer. He had cold sweats all over his body and was barely trying to maintain his composure. He looked at Chu Feng and said indifferently, "I won't stoop so low to argue with a brat like you."

"Help Elder Zhang to his room so that he can rest," Madame Zhang said.

Her voice suppressed that of the crowd.

When Yingying walked past Lin, she lowered her voice and said with disdain, "In all honesty, this person is indeed someone I just invited. He is not the Martial Arts Grandmaster and since I am my grandmother's granddaughter, I cannot be embarrassed. Hehe!"

Only then did Lin realize that she had wrongly blamed her husband, Chu Feng.

Lin's grandfather had married two wives, but Lin's mother was dead and this made the Zhang family treat her badly.

Even if the life of the Zhang family was at stake, Madame Zhang was someone who made sure that she protected her younger generation.

Lin walked up to Chu Feng and said to him coldly, "I agree it's my fault today. I owe you and you can take it anytime!"

"What then do I owe you?" Chu Feng chuckled.

"What do you owe me?" Lin asked in surprise.

"Well, I owe you my life..."

"No, I don't need you to repay me. Very soon, we'll have to separate!" Lin said indifferently.

Chu Feng shook his head in disagreement and said with a smile, "Just tell me what you want. When you're done thinking about it, let me know. Even if it's the moon in the sky, I'll get it for you."

Lin smiled bitterly and left as she shook her head. She had always known her husband to be like this. He had no ability and only knew how to brag. How could he possibly bring her the moon? Even the Martial Arts Grandmaster couldn't do such a thing.

However, Lin decided to forget about what Chu Feng said. Besides, whenever he spoke in such a manner, she never took him seriously.

At midnight, the Zhang family clansmen guarded the courtyard with terrified expressions on their faces.

All of a sudden, there was a loud noise outside.

Before anyone could understand what was happening, a butler was thrown into the open space. Looking closely, one could see that he was already dead.

Everyone was horrified as they didn't understand what was going on.

The expression on Madame Zhang's face was as grim as everyone else's. She gave some commands to the people around her and after a while, a muscular young man was invited over.

When everyone saw him, they were shocked to their bones because they knew who he was.

He was the undefeatable Nanlin Boxing King. Ever since his debut, he had fought no less than a hundred times and defeated all his opponents in 32 games. He never lost any.

While everyone was still admiring him, an aged voice rang out within the Zhang family courtyard.

"Haha! Lin Yuanzhi, I haven't seen you in three years. I knew you weren't dead. Today, I will kill 130 people in the Zhang family to avenge for all the insults I received in the past."

Everyone present raised their heads and looked up. They saw an old man standing on the roof. He seemed to be above 70 years old and had a longsword strapped to his back. The black robe he wore was being blown by the breeze.

"I didn't expect you to still be alive, either," Madame Zhang said coldly with a frown.

"So you still remember me. In the blink of an eye, three years have passed. Don't you think you've lived enough?" The old man spoke to Madame Zhang in a contemptuous tone.

Don't be so rude!" The boxing king said with a snort.

"Who is this?"

"Nanlin Boxing King. He is the one taking care of the Zhang family today!" Madame Zhang replied proudly.

"My child, this is a matter between the Zhang family and me. It will be in your best interest if you don't get involved unless you want to be killed!" The old man said with a sneer as he looked at the Nanlin Boxing King.

"Child?" Hearing the old man call him a child made him angry. He had killed many so-called strong people in the boxing ring and no one dared to be so arrogant in his presence.
