C30 Boyfriend

"This is the place."

Westley took a quick look at the sign for "Hunan Cuisine" and decided this was where he'd dine.

The city was a maze of restaurants, each one unique in its own way.

Choosing one had left Westley's head spinning.

In the end, he simply picked one at random.

Once he had made his reservation, Westley called Sienna and then entered the restaurant.

A waiter led him to a window seat.

The decor was quite nice, with a distinctive local flair. Plus, the window seat was discreet yet offered a view of the city's nightscape.

The restaurant's size and quality were decent.

Sienna arrived shortly after he sat down.

She had gone back to change her clothes and had applied a touch of makeup.

The subtle changes were enough to leave Westley spellbound.

Sienna was wearing a white, high-necked, off-the-shoulder cashmere sweater that made her skin glow with a rosy hue. Her figure was striking, especially her upright posture, which was hard to ignore.

With her large glasses removed, Westley noticed Sienna's features were quite refined. Her hair, casually styled with a curling iron, fell in large, wavy curls.

She paired this with light grey wide-leg pants, adding an air of cool sophistication.

Westley thought Sienna's ensemble deserved an 85 out of 100.

That was a high score, considering he had only ever given his wife Olivia a 90.

Of course, if Olivia weren't so aloof, her score would be off the charts.

"What's wrong?"

Sienna caught Westley staring and fidgeted with the hem of her shirt.

"Oh, nothing. It's just that there's a beautiful woman here who's so radiant, I can barely keep my eyes open," Westley said with a chuckle.

After a day's acquaintance, Sienna was accustomed to his flippant ways.

So, with a smile, she took her seat with ease.

"I'm not sure what you like, so you pick the dishes."

Westley passed her the menu with a flourish. "Go ahead and order. Don't worry about the cost."

He acted as if he had struck it rich overnight!

"Sure, I'm definitely not going to be the one to save you money."

Sienna nodded and picked out a few dishes.

Westley glanced over the selections and chuckled. "You've chosen some pretty light fare. Let me add a few more to the mix."

With that, he ordered a few additional dishes.

As they waited for their meal, Sienna couldn't help but inquire, "Westley, how did you end up working at this company?"

Westley was momentarily taken aback.

He couldn't reveal to Sienna that Director Rogers was his wife and that his father-in-law had strong-armed him into taking the job.

He fabricated a response instead. "I'm always up for a challenge, and Olivia Group seemed like a good fit for me."

"What did you do before?" Sienna propped her chin on her hand, looking genuinely interested.

Westley hesitated again.

He couldn't exactly admit he'd been a mercenary, facing life-and-death situations daily.

"I've dabbled in a bit of everything in the past," Westley said with a hearty laugh.

"Wow, you've had such a rich life experience. I'm quite jealous. I just started working here right after college," Sienna said with a hint of melancholy.

"Isn't it nice to start working straight away, though?" Westley asked.

"It is! Plus, Director Rogers at the company is my idol, my role model."

Sienna's eyes sparkled as she spoke, "Director Rogers is the epitome of perfection—a highly educated, stunningly beautiful woman with both a high IQ and EQ. She's practically a goddess in the eyes of almost every man."

"Too bad those guys don't stand a chance—she's my wife," Westley muttered under his breath.

"What was that?" Sienna didn't catch his mutter.

"I was just wondering if Director Rogers is as perfect as you say," Westley covered.

"Absolutely! To me, Director Rogers is the embodiment of perfection. If I were a man, I'd fall for her too," Sienna said with fervor.

Westley rubbed his forehead, a sense of foreboding washing over him.

This was not good. Another naive young woman charmed by Olivia's façade.

If Sienna were to spend every day with Olivia, without seeing her smile, with Olivia's cold demeanor, she might not hold her in such high regard.

The dishes arrived in succession, and Westley inquired, "Would you like something to drink?"

"No, thanks. Water is fine for me," Sienna declined with a wave of her hand.

As they dined and conversed, the ambiance was quite pleasant.

Yet, this peaceful tableau was soon disrupted by an unexpected intruder.

"Sienna, what brings you here?"

Westley glanced up to see a tall, dashing young man accompanied by a well-put-together woman with thick makeup.

"Ethan?" Sienna's eyes betrayed a flicker of alarm.

"Hey, old classmate, it's been years! How have you been?" Ethan greeted her with a friendly grin.

"I've been well," Sienna replied, her voice faltering slightly, her eyes darting nervously.

"Allow me to introduce you. This is my girlfriend, Juliana," Ethan said with enthusiasm.

Chewing gum nonchalantly, Juliana extended her hand and offered a casual, "Hello."

"Hello, nice to meet you," Sienna responded, rising to shake her hand.

A peculiar spider tattoo adorned Juliana's wrist.

"So, you're Ethan's ex, Sienna?" Juliana's eyes twinkled with curiosity.

Sienna paused, taken aback.

Westley's face was a picture of intrigue.

Ex-girlfriend, ex-boyfriend, and current girlfriend—was this not the makings of an over-the-top reality TV drama?

"All that's ancient history. Why dredge it up now?" Ethan stepped in, attempting to defuse the tension.

Juliana's expression soured, though she held back from making a scene.

"Sienna, and who might this be?" Ethan turned his attention to Westley.

Straightening his attire, Westley angled his face to be fully seen.

They were just now noticing him—the handsome guy who had been striking a pose for far too long!

"Oh, this is..."

Before Sienna could introduce Westley, Ethan cut in, "Let me guess, this must be your dad, right?"

At that, Westley nearly leapt up to give Ethan a piece of his mind.

Her father? He could very well be Ethan's father!

Westley prided himself on his youthful, dashing looks, the epitome of today's trending heartthrobs, didn't he?

Were Ethan's eyes planted on the backside of his head?

"No, he's not," Sienna quickly denied, shaking her head.

"Then let me take another guess—is he your uncle?" Ethan asked with a smile.

"He's not!"

"Could it be that he's your sugar daddy?" Ethan let out a mocking laugh.

Westley got it now.

Ethan was doing this deliberately!

The term "sugar daddy" had taken on a negative connotation, often used to describe wealthy men who financially support their mistresses.

Ethan was spouting nonsense, aiming to publicly demean Westley!

How intriguing!

Westley felt a surge of interest and leaned back, eager to watch Ethan's charade unfold.

Sienna bit her lip, her eyes brimming with unshed tears.

She confronted Ethan, "What are you implying?"

"Don't get upset; I didn't mean it like that."

Ethan wrapped an arm around Juliana, who was next to him, feigning innocence as he spoke, "I just thought this gentleman looked familiar."

Sienna inhaled sharply, as though she had come to a resolute decision.

"If you really want to know, then I'll tell you. Yes, he's my boyfriend."

With that declaration, Sienna wrapped her arms around Westley, nestling close to him.

Their level of closeness clearly indicated they were in the sweet throes of romance.
