C15 Did I say something wrong

I walked home with a bright smile on my face as I rounded the corner and I was about to enter my house.

Mrs Amira Issah called out to me.

"Hey."

"Good afternoon ma'am."

"Well I have seen your father."

"Step father." I corrected her.

"He is my step father
