C16 I Am Your Fourth Brother Chi Xi!
Chi Hann washed his hands and then pulled her back into his arms, gently pinching her cheek. "I can't leave you alone for a minute without you getting into trouble," he teased. "Looks like I'll have to cut back on the water when I'm around my little darling."
The butler was starting to worry. "Ma'am, you and sir should return soon. Young Master Hann might lead Miss Adorable astray!"
Little Ruixin knew hitting was wrong, but she nodded obediently. She glanced at her skinny little hands and thought about the boy she had just seen. Her expression showed rare hesitation. "Sorry, brother," she thought, "I might not be able to win."

In the car, Lin Yacui smacked her son on the shoulder. "Crying, crying, always crying! I told you not to come, but you insisted! You're just getting in the way!"
Realizing his mom was truly angry, Linlin fell silent, curling up in the corner like a quail.
Lin Yacui dialed a number. As soon as the call connected, she snapped, "Great suggestion you had, making me come here just to get all worked up!"
Whatever was said on the other end seemed to calm her a bit, but she still sounded uneasy. "Didn't you say the plan was foolproof, that she couldn't come back? So why is she still alive, and why has she changed so much?"
The person on the other end paused, their previously polite tone turning icy. "Don't ask questions you shouldn't."
After the call ended abruptly, Lin Yacui felt a sting of humiliation. What did they all think of her?
Her anger was palpable, but it vanished the moment she received a text about a deposit of several million dollars. Just then, someone knocked on her car window. It was Chi Xi, the second of the Chi family triplets. She rolled down the window and smiled, "Xi, you're back! Did you see your sister?"
The brooding teenager, with shoulder-length hair and a cello strapped to his back, pulled out his phone and showed her a photo that Chi Hann had just posted in the family group chat.
Seeing her forced smile freeze, Chi Xi, with his pale lips barely moving, spoke slowly, "If your son bullies my sister again, I'll use him as a test subject."
He glanced at the chubby boy pretending to be asleep in the back seat, then looked back at Lin Yacui. "Maybe you'll end up with one less son and one more daughter?"
The suffocating feeling of a snake coiling around her neck left Lin Yacui pale. She couldn't understand how triplets could be so different! They didn't look alike, and their personalities were worlds apart, each more eccentric than the last. Yet, each excelled in their own field.
After issuing his warning, Chi Xi left. As he entered the house, he hadn't even seen anyone yet when he heard his foolish brother's voice—
"Xin, be a good girl and give your brother another kiss! Right here, right here!"
Little Ruixin, her ears turning red, pouted and leaned in to plant a kiss on her brother's cheek.
Snap! The moment was captured perfectly.
Chi Hann was thrilled and set the photo as his screensaver, swaying side to side with his sister in his arms. "Xin, you're the best little sister ever!"
Smack.
He felt a light tap on the back of his head. Just as he was about to get annoyed, he looked up to see his brother, who often went missing while working at the research institute and had dreams of being a musician despite his tone-deafness, gesturing for him to move aside.
Chi Xi couldn't be bothered with his silly brother. He scooped Little Ruixin into his arms, gazing down into her curious eyes. After a moment, he spoke softly, his face calm but his ears tinged with a hint of pink, "I'm your fourth brother, Chi Xi."
