CHAPTER FIVE

*Elvis' Pov*

I can't believe the detriment of understanding that some homo sapiens are just an epitome of arrogant.

Maria didn't know that she's playing with fire. I was just trying to be a good person and only for love I was degrading myself and personality.

I went to Rex at that very spot and narrated all what that happened to him.

"Hey man, what's up?", Rex uttered on sighting me approaching the foyer.

At first, I didn't give any response to his questions.

It was when he noticed the countenance written all over my facial expression that made him comprehend that my feelings were hurt.

"See bro, just calm down okay? I know it won't be easy, but with persistence and consistence trial you might be at the greatest peak of success", Rex remarked.

"You can't believe what this girl did to me. She slapped me and walked me out of her apartment", I yelled.

"Come on Elvis, it's not always an easy way task to win a woman's heart. All what you need is to put on an armour of patience and definitely it will be a success", Rex said making me to cheer up.

"Ok brother, I wanna go home, take lunch and probably with the company of my dog, Mildred", I said.

"No probs dude, safe journey home", Rex remarked shutting the foyer.

*Raymond's Pov*

Now that my fiancee is back, telling

Maria about her is one of the greatest things that seems too impossible for me to do.

I was seriously in a dilemma and fear that Maria might commit suicide once she realises that I'm dating Evelyn.

She will see me as a gold digger and not the true love she expected.

Well, I know how to handle this. I have to try for once acting to be good, rather than being illusive all the time.

The work for the day had gotten to its climax. I quickly hurried down the garage, got inside my zippy car and zoomed off.

I drove to Evelyn's apartment and took her to my house.

When we both arrived, I was definitely weak and needed to take my shower to get freshened up.

I went to the shower room while Evelyn was at the kitchen sorting out for dinner.

After the water had descended on my skin, I felt highly relief like an heavy luggage was taken off my neck.

Leaving the shower room, I went further to dress up with my pyjamas.

I got dressed and dashed into the kitchen to see how Evelyn was preparing the fried rice and chicken.

I walked in languidly without her notice and was backing at her for a while.

She was emphatically beautiful than even the goddess of beauty.

I walked towards her and this time around, I curved my right hand round her waist like C-curve and she lifted her face and joined with mine.

My lips got in contact with hers as I kissed her passionately. I broke the kiss and then went further to assist her in blending the tomatoes, slicing the onion while she was seasoning the dish.

Twenty-five minutes later, the food was ready. While eating at the dining table, it was really fun.

I scooped the rice with my spoon and directed it to her oral cavity. She opened her mouth and engulfed it.

Like wise her, she also fed me, and

made me go crazy.

After enjoying the sumptuous meal, we both retired to our bedroom.

I couldn't stop staring at her innocent face, most especially the tip pointed edge of her nose like a sword.

"Hey darling, why staring at me like that? I really do hope am safe?", Evelyn asked.

"Yeah my angel, I was carried away by your cuteness, written all over your facial expression", I said making her to feel more flattered.

I drew her to myself, caressing her abdomen and I began biting and sucking her lips. Her lips tasted juicy and was swollen.

My hand kept moving around her body. Like wise her, I felt a touch within my chest as she undressed my pyjamas.

I losed the hooks of her bra and keep caressing here body as I felt the nipple of her breast.

"Oh my gosh! This is why I said you moved on with another guy when you came back", I muttered as I admist heavy breath.

"Yeah darling, just promise me you won't see someone else", Evelyn said with expectancy.

"Yeah, I won't tryna do that. I promise baby", I uttered.

--------------The Next Morning-----------------

I woke up, feeling so weak and tired. I got my toothpaste, applying a little quantity on my toothbrush and began brushing my teeth.

After brushing, I got showered immediately and applied my body lotion.

I quickly dashed into my wardrobe and made selection of my fashion for the day.

Since breakfast was made ready, I ran into eating mine and was about leaving for work.

"Hi baby, I'm leaving for work. I already dropped some money on the table for your up keep", I said.

"Come on darling, isn't it too early? I really wanna have you on my side now", Evelyn insisted.

"No baby, you can always have me when I'm back. Besides, I have appointments with my managing director this morning", I said fictitiously.

I was only doing this because I really wanna see Maria before I go to work.

I got to Maria's apartment, pressed the door buzzer, and the door swung open.

"Good morning baby", I saluted.

Maria didn't say anything to me, but only kept staring at me.

"I said good morning", I repeated.

Yet she wasn't replying. I knew she would be angry, but telling her what happened was the bridge I couldn't cross.

I began feeling bewildered and short of words to say a pretext which could act as an apology.

What next I could observe was a sound slap on my cheek. I had an intention to react, but was against the legal principle in the state.

"Fuck you son of a bitch", Maria bawled.

I didn't wanna exhaust my precious time any longer. I left in silence to work, just to avoid being punished or suspended.
