C4 That girl

Seher's POV:

I entered the office building and went straight to Mrs. Mittal's cabin. I knocked on the door.

The person standing in front of me is enough to shock me.

"You?" The first word came out of my mouth.

"Come in, Seher." The manager told me. I nodded and went inside.

"So far what is that" I'm thinking in my mind.

"Mr. Khurana wants you to work as his secretary. He is very impressed with your work and he is guilty of making you quit." she said.

I looked at him with wide eyes, he turned to me and smirked.

"It's okay manager and I don't want to start work yet, I just want to take a break from work." I said

"Miss Sethi, I know I treated you badly and I'm sorry, I misunderstood you," he said. Then we heard a knock on the door. One employee said, "Ma'am, you have a meeting."

"Okay, I'm coming," said the manager, and left me with him and left for the meeting.

"So you don't want to work or you don't want to work for me," he said in his cold voice.

"I_I don't want to start work yet," I stammered. He got up from where he was sitting and walked towards me. I took a step back and hit the wall. He was so close to me.

"What are you doing?" I asked him, he did not say anything but smirking. I tried to push him but he grabbed both my hands and pinned me from behind and made me sandwich between him and the wall. I tried to push him again but all went in vain.

"Leave me Mayank," I said, "what are you doing?"

"Are you nervous?" He asked. I can't answer because he's close to me, I can smell him. He bowed his head when I closed my eyes and whispered in my ear.

"If you refuse to work for me, the consequences will not be in your favor", his lips touched my earlobe and I opened my eyes as he said.

"what will you do?" I asked

"If you refuse to work for me, I will cancel the contract and your manager will have to pay the price." He said sternly and I was shocked by his answer.

"You can't do this?" I said.

"I can do anything, babe," He said, "I can feel anger at his every word." Then he left me with a jolt. And I was amazed at his behavior.

"What does he want from me now?" And then Mrs. Mittal came and he was completely changed like wow.

"Mrs. Mittal, she is ready to work for me as secretary," he said, warning me not to say a word.

"Seher, are you really okay with that?" The manager asked.

"Yes, I'm fine with that." I replied hesitantly. I didn't feel right about his intentions anywhere but the reason is that he blackmailed me and left me no choice but to do so, but I also know that he can't do much worse because I know him well.

"Come to my office by 8 o'clock tomorrow morning," he said and I nodded. Then I turned to left but heard a sound and stopped.

"Miss Sethi, I hate those who arrive late at work," he added.

"Okay sir," I said without looking back.

Mayank's POV:

When I approached her, she panicked, which meant she was affected by my touch. A bad smile bit my lip. I really enjoyed it.

I came home by ten o'clock at night. Mom opened the door and greeted me with a smile on her face. And I return the gesture.

We are eating then mom said.

"Mayak, please tell your Grandma she doesn't listen to me," Mom complained, and Grandma made a face.

"What happened, Mom? Have you both fought again?" I asked.

"She went to the temple and had an accident on the way."

"A small accident," Grandma confirmed.

While I was stunned. "Grandma, how many times have I told you not to go anywhere alone but you never listen to me. What if something happens to you," I screamed to understand.

"I'm not alone. I went with the driver," She said. "But at least you should take Mom or Kriya with you."

"But boy, I'm fine. Nothing happens to me because of that girl."

And her statement drew my attention to the word "that girl."

"WHO?" I asked

I don't know her name but she is very kind and sweet. As soon as she saw me falling to the ground, she hurried to me and helped me bandage my wound.

"Mom, you should at least ask her name," Mom told my grandmother.

"Yeah, I'll ask her name. I've just forgotten. I really like that she's so kind and beautiful." Grandma started talking about it and I know what she is upto.

"Next time, Grandma, it's okay. If you meet her, thank me too. And don't think of anything else and don't try to fix me with a girl." I said

She made a face and everyone started eating.
