Astrid Pov

He took a deep breathe claiming his self, then turning to give me a sharp look. " Is this some kind of plan against me? " He asked glaring at me.

" Mom are you guys fighting again. " I smiled at him, shaking my head. " No baby it's just adult talk okay. "

" Alright then. " He smiled " I will forgive dad, but he needs to promise me he is not going to hurt or fight with you ever again and also he as to treat you better than uncle Bryan did. " He said crossing his arm across his chest.

I turned to look at Nathaniel, to see him looking at Kelvin with a proud look on his face.

I cleared my throat turning my attention back to Kelvin. " Baby what are you talking about, you know your Uncle Bryan tried his best for us. " My explained passing my fingers through his silky hair.

" And his best wasn't good enough. " Nathan whispered.

" Yes daddy. " Nathan said smiling at his father. " He also like other women except from mommy, daddy. " He reported pouting, glaring into the ait. I look at each of them wondering what was going on between the two.

Woah, I gasped surpurised at how these two quickly teamed up.

" Don't worry big guy, daddy is back and he is here to take care of both you and mommy alright. " Nathan smiled, standing up from his seat and walking towards us, picking up Kelvin from my laps, using his left hand to ruffle his hair.

" So are we going to live in daddy's house now? " Kelvin asked smiling, as Nathan eyes went wide before smirking and hugging Kelvin tighter.

He sighed wrapping his hands around Kelvin little body, closing his eyes shut.

I looked at the scene in front of me, my heart clenching, tears in my eyes. I quietly wiped my tears away before it could rolled down my cheeks, not wanting to ruin the moment.

I was about to step back to give them their moment when Nathan grabbed my hand, dragging me into the hug.

After some minutes we separated, I blinked my eyes to stop my tears from falling.

" Actually Kelvin that's what I wanted to talk to you about. We are going to be staying with Daddy for now, as there's some problem with uncle Bryan that I need to settle first " I told him.

Nathan had informed me that the reason he came back now, was because Nancy had informed him of some of the kind of illegal trouble Bryan had gotten his sekf involved in.

It turned out Bryan knew who I was from the beginning and decided to get close to me and my unborn child at that time, because he wants to use Kelvin against Nathan later on.

His plans I failed because I still had feeling for Nathan and he noticed it deciding to go into trafficking, hoping to kidnap and keep Kelvin.

I got scared after knowing all this, but I couldn't help but thank God that Nathan was keeping an eye on us all along.

" But why? Did you and uncle Bryan fight again? " Kelvin asked from his father's arm.

" It's okay big boy, or don't you want to spend some time with Daddy. " Nathan asked him, looking down at our son with a happy glint in his eyes.

" Well it depends on how well you treat mummy, before I know if I can be your friend. " Kelvin said with a straight face, stretching his hand for a handshake to seal the deal.

Nathan looks him taken back, by our little boys attitude, before stretching his hand accepting the handshake with a chuckle.

" Ohhh his future is great. " He said laughing all heatedly.

I rolled my eyes at both of them, deciding to leave them and go upstairs to undress.

" Am going to take a shower. " I informed the both of them, but it seem like they were both in their own world, as they both ignored me, whispering amongst themselves.

I shook my head and made my way out of the kitchen.

I had to accept the fact that Kelvin attention was going to be shared from now, I thought to myself climbing up the stairs.

I walked out of the bathroom, hearing voices coming from the bedroom.

" Are you and Mom going to get married now? " Kelvin asked, playing with his father's finger on the bed, while I leaned slightly against the wall watching them discreetly.

" Not yet buddy. " Nathan answered him, I felt a pang on my chest immediately he said that, but I ignored it quickly shaking off the feeling.

" But why? " Kelvin small voice asked, cracking a bit.

" Hey! Hey! Dont worry, things will get better soon alright big guy. Just give daddy some time. " Nathan said softly kissing Kelvin hair.

Kelvin looked up at his father, hopefully " you promise? " He asked his father, using the back of his hands to rub his eyes.

" Sure buddy, don't worry okay? " He answered, ruffling the little boys head smiling, while I stood there frowning, before deciding to step out from behind the wall.

" Honey, it's time for bed. Go find Nancy and wait for me, I will be there soon. " I said grabbing his hands and slowly dragging him out of the bed.

" Okay mommy. " He smiled, then turned to look at his father.

" Daddy are we still going out tomorrow? " He asked Nathan, to which he responded with a nod.

" Yay! Kelvin exclaimed, running out of the room shouting Nancy's name.

I stood there waiting to make sure that Kelvin had left already, before turning back to glare at Nathan.

" How could you promise him something like that. " I glared at him.

He stood up from the bed marching towards me tucking his hands into his suit pants. I checked him out, noticing that he was still in his suit.

" Because Cara I plan on keeping that promise no matter what. " He said shrugging his shoulders.

" You are talking as if my feelings doesn't matter in this decision. " I said rolling my eyes.

" Nope. " He said looking his mouth.

" Your feeling matter, your heart might be with you right now, but am going to make sure you give it back to me, and willingly may I add. " He said looking straight into my eyes.

I rolled my eyes, making my way towards the bed, slamming myself against the soft material.

" Aren't you going to ask where your room is going to be? " He asked, untying the tie around his neck and making his way into the walk in closet.

" Am not stupid Nathan, I already know you ain't giving me a separate room. " I said, adjusting the pillow, flashes from the first time we shared a room, crossing my mind.

I sighed.

Tomorrow was going to be a long day, as Nathan had informed me we were all going to see his parents.

It might sound like a normal thing, but it isn't as sweet as it sounds. Nathaniel mom hates me for some reason I myself am not aware of.

I shut my eyes, letting sleep take me away into la la Land, but not before feeling a weight in the bed.

" Good night Cara. " He whispered, placing a kiss on my forehead.

I stared at myself in the mirror, using my hands to straighten my already stretched hair nervously.

I wasn't ready to face Nathan parents again. His mother was a pain in the back and I seriously wanted to avoid any trouble from her.

Elizabeth was good to me when Nathan had introduced me to her, but she later suddenly changed giving me the cold shoulders and constantly trying to pair Nathan up with other girls.

But after me and Nathan had separated, she tries calling and asking for my whereabout, saying she recreated everything she had done and was sorry for not supporting me. But I honestly found it so hard to believe, so I changed my number.

Now I was going to face her and I honestly wish I won't.

" Mummy. " I heard Kelvin whining.

" Why is he so impatient just like his father. " I murmured, sighing, grabbing my purse and making my way towards.

For once he decided to wear the suit I picked for him.

" We are late already, let's go. " Kelvin said grabbing my hand, walking in haste, making me chuckle.

" Mommy, are grandpa and grandma nice people. " He asked me still as he drag me out of the house, towards Nathan who was waiting for us beside the car.

" Would you look at that, you got her down in time buddy. " Nathan chuckle, while I glared at him.

" Yes, she always take time. But it's worth it in the end. Right daddy? " He smiled looking at next making me smile at my little boy compliment.

" Let's go. " I said picking him up, placing him at the back seat, fastening the seat belt around him, then taking my seat beside him.

Nathan entered through the other side, sititng beside Kelvin, leaving him at the middle of us. .

My heart skip a beat as soon as the car came to halt at the front of the Harrison's mansion. I looked at Kelvin to see him looking at the mansion with wide eyes.

" Is it here mommy? " He asked while, I quietly unfasten his seat belt.

" Yes. Common. " Nathan answered getting Kelvin out of the car, stretching his hands towards me to take.

I looked down at it for a moment, before shoving it aside, clearing my throat and getting out of the car.

" Did you offend mommy? " Kelvin whispered to his father.

I ignored the both of them making my way to the front of the mansion, tapping my hands against the door.

The door opened with a smiling Elizabeth standing in front of me, she step forward high me tightly.

" Astrid. " She called out, giving me a bone crushing hug. " Oh God it's been so long, I miss you so much honey. " She said stepping back with tears in her eyes.

I smiled looking at her, a little shock from the warm welcome I just received. It was just like the first time we both met.

" WHAT THE FUCK HIS THIS HOE DOING HERE? " A voice scream and I turned around to look at, Ryan Nathan's younger brother glaring at me.
