I stood on my grounds in pure disapproval, not to go on any godforsaken date with

Gibson. The ground I stood upon slowly gave way and I fell into agreeing on the

stupid date.

Miss B appeared in the living room, where I and Gibson were having an epic banter,

and talked me into going with him.

Gibson came later with a deep blue velvet gown for me to put on for the date
