Cleopatra POV

I said goodbye to Aphrodite and Leana and that I was just going to a department store here in the Mall to buy my new clothes. Well, maybe it's not bad for me to stay away from Aphrodite first, is it? Then another, I was just forced to help Van. I don't even want anyone watching me. I even beat the babysitter or bodyguard in what I do.

I went out to the shoe store where my companions were inside. I don’t understand them, they like heels and what, what else are you in shoes. Why don't they just wear normal shoes?

I was about to turn to go to the clothes shop when I collided. I angrily looked at whoever I had bumped into and stared at.

"Aren't you looking at --- Van?" I asked as he removed the shades he was wearing. He looked behind me then looked at me.

"What are you doing here Outside? You should be inside with Aphrodite too." He said.

"Eh, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"I'm following you." He replied.

"Us? Or maybe it's just Aphrodite," I said. He smiled.

"That's right." He said then peeked inside again and looked inside.

"What are you doing there?" He asked. He even defeated the stalker in what he was doing.

"They'll probably buy shoes," I said then glared at him.

"Eh, you?" He asked.

"I'm going to the other store," I said and was about to pass when he pulled me back.

"No, you can't, you should just be there next to Aphrodite." I frowned in annoyance.

"Are you ordering me?" I asked annoyed. He shook his head.

"No, all I want is for you to come back and find out what he's doing." He replied.

"Van, Aphrodite is big and there are things I have to do for myself. What will I gain if I just tail her all day?" I said annoyed.

“But you promised me you would help me.” He said.

"Yeah, right. I hope I didn't promise. I even beat the bodyguard in what I was doing." I said annoyed and turned my back on him.

"Hey, where are you going?" He asked.

I didn't answer him, I just went for a walk to find another clothing store. Annoying actually. If I hadn't felt sorry for him, maybe I would be free to act now. Damn. Why should I feel sorry for someone like him?

"Cleopatra." Immediately someone pulled me to the side causing me to be surprised.

"Hey, look where you're going," Van said annoyed with the woman in front of us. It's shaded and holding a phone and obviously, you have a chat.

"Excuse me?" She asked in shock.

"Excuse you, hey miss, if you learned to flirt in chat then you also learn to look where you're going." Annoyed Van said.

I immediately intruded on them.

"I'm sorry," I said and pulled Van away from the woman. I let go of Van when we could get away.

"Are you going to make trouble here?" I asked annoyed. He frowned.

“I’m just helping you.” He said.

"I don't need your help okay?" I asked then he turned away. In an instant, he was in front of me again. Yeah, right. I forgot he was a half-vampire.

"Cleopatra, please." He begged.

"All right, come back to them." He begged. I just passed him and walked away. But this naughty werewolf is still following me.

I just ignored him until I landed in a clothes store. It's just embarrassing because we're both looking at each other. After all, this Van still doesn't stop scratching at me. I'm disgusted.

"Cleopatra please." When he takes pity. I took a dress and looked at it. Hmmm something for me.

"Cleo--"

"If you haven't stopped I'll bury you in your pit, Van Floyd Vaughn." Annoyed I said.

"Ma'am, will you take it?" I raised an eyebrow at the saleslady who asked me.

"Yes," I answered and looked for another dress. "Cleopatra, why are you torturing me like this?" I stopped looking for clothes and then confronted him.

"Can I? Stop begging me? You're already annoyed. As a child." I said and turned my back on him.

"If you want to take care of her in that store. Go and say that Fin sent you for his wife even if he didn't. Make an excuse to be with her, after all, you want to be with her.".

"Right." I turned to her. His face lit up. "You're very smart Cleopatra, I'll see you later." He said and hugged me then ran out of the store.

"Ma'am, is that your boyfriend?" I looked at the speaker badly. Boyfriend your face.

"No," I replied.

"He's handsome." He said with a shudder.

"Play it," I said and took the paper bag he was holding and paid then left the store. Very landing Saleslady.

I was wandering around another store when my phone vibrate. I took it out of my pocket and looked at the text. Leana.

Leanna

'Hey Sissy, Van is Here. He invited us to eat. Where are you? Just come here to the restaurant near the store we went to earlier. '

Did Van follow my advice? Crazy werewolf.

I walked over to the restaurant Leanna said. And inside I saw them talking. Next to Van is Aphrodite.

Leona looked at my behavior and pointed at me.

"There she is." I heard her say. I walked closer to them. I sat in front of Van and then looked at him. He had a smile on his lips as he looked at Aphrodite who was talking.

I don’t know why but I was disgusted with them.

"Where did you go, Cleopatra?" Aphrodite asked.

"Just buy a dress." My casual answer then looked at Van who was just looking at Aphrodite.

"By the way, Van, why are you here?" Leona asked. They didn't seem to know that Van was here to watch over Aphrodite.

"Cleopatra called me." My eyes widened, and Van looked at me with a smile.

"Did you call him?" Leona asked me.

"Because he's asking me to buy a good gift for Von," Van replied so my eyes widened even more.

A gift? For Von? That's the only excuse.

"Why would you give Von a gift?" Aphrodite asked me. He turned to smile.

"Because--" Deputy what can I say? Damn you, Van. Curse you.

"Because ughm~~"

"Because Cleopatra wants to be friends with Von," Van said and called the waiter.

"That's right," I said and avoided the gaze of everyone they turned to look at me.

"Cleopatra, Von is kind and he doesn't need things just to be your friend," Van said.

"Then isn't he with you in your Agency? Aren't you close yet?" Leona asked.

"H-no," I replied.

"Guys order us first." Said Aphrodite and picked up a menu.

I looked badly at Van as he looked at me. He just smiled and winked at me. Damn you, Van!
