I get it, I respect it, but you should know that this are your people, your blood, your family. They need you. And are you going to tell me now, that you don’t give a damn about them.” Romeo said as Mia withdrew her hands and walked to the window.

“I don’t think I am cut out for the work again, I am losing my touch, I got a kid here, his name is Scott and he is dying and I can’t do anything to save him, I know I should pull the life machine out, but I keep hoping and praying for a miracle, he already lost his birth parents, all he got once is a foster mum, I just don’t know what to do. And before that, I lost Tyler in my hands back at the pack, because I miscalculated.”

“Tyler was a mistake, no one is blaming you for it, not even his parents. You need to stop beating yourself about it. I came here with the intention of ordering you ton return back to the pack, but now, I won’t. It’s your choice, you have to do what you think its best. I won’t force you to leave your present life here. It was so finally nice to see you again lily. Take care of yourself.” Romeo said as he turned to leave.

“I hate you so much Romeo.” Mia muttered underneath her breath.

“Brother wait!” She called out as he opened the door.

“Yes, what’s it.”

“Do you really believe in me as the pack doctor? Do you trust me again after all I have done? And have you forgiven me whole heartedly.” Mia asked with an anxious heart.

“I never held you responsible for anything, I never held a grudge about what you did and I believe in you, I never stopped believing in you so matter what.” Romeo said in a low voice.

“Okay, I will come home in two days’ time. I haven’t turned to a wolf for a very long time and it’s going to be difficult.” Mia said chuckling nervously.

“Thanks.” Romeo said chuckling.

“Oh and one more thing.”

“What’s that?”

“Am not coming back alone. I am bringing my son with me.” Mia said as Romeo nodded and disappeared down the hall.

Anya climbed the steps leading to her dorm, earlier that evening. She sighed as she opened the door and entered it. Silence greeted her as a warm companion.

She groaned, she dropped her bag on the table then made way to her bedroom where her drugs laid on the counter. She took it, it was blue in color as she went to the kitchen to get a glass of water. She took the drugs and swallowed it. Dr. Bradford had prescribed it to her, for headache and migraine and intense pain. She had to be taking it every day, but the drugs seemed a bit strange, but nevertheless she still took it.

She decided on what to eat, recently she had been craving meat, a lot of meat, in blood and she had no idea why, and her incisors were starting to itch, she just took it as a reaction to the drugs she was taking.

She decided to reheat the spaghetti that was remaining in the morning.

She dished it out as she sat down, dialing Leo’s number once more, it went straight to voicemail.

She sighed as she switched off her phone and began to devour her dinner. Maybe Leo was held up, by some stuffs. She wondered what was happening, lately they have been having problems, he always found fault with her, he shouted at her, he doesn’t call as before, then he went AWOL for one week straight, then he calls her yesterday and said, he was coming over today to see her and now he’s not picking up. Was it all a prank? She thought.

She was lost in thoughts when she heard a knock on the door.

“HIS DOOR IS THE NEXT ONE.” She yelled thinking it was Sofia who had come to see Liam. People always mistook her door for his’s. The knock on the door came again, she groaned in frustration as she stood up dropping the plate on the table and walked to the door.

She opened it in anger and said.

“I thought I said his door is the next……Leo?”

“Hey, how are you doing?” Leo said.

“Oh, my god. You really came. Anya said hugging him. I had lost hope.”

“Well, I am here, can I come in, I need to talk to you, about something very important.” Leo said.

“I am sorry, please come in.” Anya said opening the door wide.

Leo entered and looked around, “still the same as I left it a week ago.”

“Yeah, sorry about the mess, I had a lot of my stuffs going on recently. Do you want spaghetti? There is some left in the pot.” She said as he sat down on the couch.

“No, not really, I need to talk to you about something.” Leo said patting the seat beside him.

There was a knock on the door, distracting the both of them as she went to see who it was.

“Hey, Valerie do you have…. Oh Leo is here.” Liam said sarcastically.

“What do you want now?” Leo asked

“Relax, I didn’t come to eat her, or sleep with her.” Liam said rolling his eyes.

“Isn’t that the same thing?” Anya asked confused.

“Sweetheart, do you have any spare condoms, mine is exhausted.” Liam said going to her drawers.

“Do I look like someone that stores condoms, how on earth do you think…?” she paused as he pulled out a roll of condoms from her bag.

“Thanks dear,” he said pecking her on the cheeks.

“You put that there, didn’t you?” She accused as he left the room.

“Maybe.” He replied

“Sorry about that, he won’t bother us again.” Anya said as she bolted the door.

She sat down beside Leo as she waited to hear what he had to say.

“So Anya there has been something that has been bugging me lately.” Leo started.
