C8 Tears Were for the Weak

Georgina stood there gaping at Denise like she had seen Angel Lucifer in person. She couldn't just believe that the dumb girl they had bullied since they were born was talking back at her. She did the only logical thing she could have done at that moment, according to her: raised her hand and made to slap Denise.

But like Denise had decided; she had seen and taken enough.in this house and it was enough. She raised her hand and held Georgina's. She couldn't let herself get slapped. Not anymore. She was through with that. The only reason she had allowed them to beat her however they wanted was because she was young and didn't know where she would go if she ever left home.

But now that her father had refused to take her to the University despite her good grades, she had nothing to lose. It's time she taught them a lesson they will never forget.

"How dare you!" Georgina screamed as she tried to take her hand from Denise's hold but she found that she couldn't. The grip Denise had on her hand was like a nut screwed very well to a metal bar. She couldn't believe that Denise was that strong and she tried even harder. As she was pulling, Denise let go and because of the inertia force, she was thrown backwards and she fell on her arse. She screamed on impact with the floor and her brother, who had finished seeing the last guest off, came running into the huge living area where the party had taken place.

"Georgina? Why are you on the floor? What happened?" He asked worriedly as he helped his sister up.

"It's this bitch. She pushed me when I asked her to clean the house. She even slapped me," Georgina, as the dramatic princess she was, lied through her teeth and she smiled as she saw her brother's face darken due to anger.

He then turned to Denise, "did you actually beat and push my sister?" He asked with so much venom that a thought of killing Denise crossed his mind.

"No I didn't. And if I did even lay a finger on her, she wouldn't be speaking. Both of you should be grateful that I haven't beaten her yet," She said with a sneer on her face.

"How dare you talk back at me? It seems like you have forgotten your place in this house you damned thing!" He shouted and flew towards her in rage.

Denise saw him coming and she was ready. He raised his arm to slap her, but she bent and the hand flew above her. She then rose with such speed that they didn't register what was happening until she had slapped George back handed and the sound rang in the now empty living room.

He was by now boiling with rage and Georgina was screaming so loudly that one could think that the apocalypse was here. In his rage, he wasn't able to reason how Denise was able to evade his attack and hit him. He raised his hand again and tried grabbing her by the collar and she kicked him on his stomach.

He doubled up in pain and when Georgina saw that, jumped to help her brother. She took a vase from a nearby table and threw it towards Denise. Denise kicked it mid-air and it crashed and a few shads fell on George who screamed again in pain. She then looked at Georgina and smiled. Within two steps, she was standing by Georgina's side and she gave her a slap that made her see stars and her ears rang.

Georgina screamed but before she could run, as she intended, Denise had slapped her two more times and you could see finger marks on her two cheeks. This is the worst beating this pampered princess had ever received and by now she was shedding tears with snort in her nostrils unbelief written all over her face.

By now, George had regained his senses and he sneaked behind Denise thinking that he could catch her off guard but how greatly mistaken he was. He held her by the neck wanting to strangle her but she reversed the role of the attacker to being the one on the receiving end. She held his hand and twisted it. She then moved to his side using her leg to

anchor herself firmly and she flipped him and threw him down and he fell on his back. Before he landed, she had given him a kick on his ribs and she heard bones crack and George screamed so loudly that if there was a cemetery around, he could have woken the dead. She then pulled Georgina and threw her on top of her brother.

By good or bad luck (it all depends with the side you are supporting) she fell on his broken bones and he screamed again. She gave them several kicks and she made sure to give them enough broken bones and internal bleeding before she heard a voice from the railings of the first floor (or second floor if you call the ground floor first floor) of the house.

"What is happening here? Why the hell are you screaming? Oh my God! GRESHAM! DENISE IS KILLING OUR CHILDREN!" Their mother screamed waking her husband and that's when Denise stopped hitting them and raised her head to look at their mother with so much venom in her eyes that the woman took a step back unconsciously even though she was that far away. That look made the

woman tremble with fear because this wasn't the girl whom they had suppressed this far.

This was a girl wanting revenge. From just that one look, she could tell that if she dared to go downstairs and help those two, she would be in hot soup. She thus stood where she was as she screamed for her husband to get out.

"If I wanted them dead, they would be dead by now. Believe me," Denise told her with a sneer as if she was looking at trash.

"Don't worry, they won't die. Maybe stay in the hospital for a few days, yes, but death, nope," she said she stepped on George's broken leg as she walked out. She knew their father was about to come and she didn't want to confront him. All given, he was still her father and at least unlike the others who beat and bullied her whenever they found the chance, he at least pretended that she

didn't exist. The last time he beat her for the first and last time was the night her grandpa passes away ten years ago. They were like two strangers who never talked but coexisted peacefully in the samne habitat.

Her father came down as she was closing the main door on her way out and he followed her his wife on his heels.

"Stop right there you uncultured swine! How dare you beat up my children? Who do you think you are? I have paid your bills since you were born and even gave you food and shelter and you repay me by beating up my children? You have lived in this house like a charity case and you are even not grateful. Did you forget your place?" He bellowed and that made Denise stop and she turned to face him.

"Your children? Pay my bills? Charity case? Pray, tell, who am I? How did I come to live with you? Am I adopted or did you pick me from the streets? I want to know why you hate me so much!" She also screamed meeting his gaze and that shook something inside him. But he was a man and he couldn't show fear. What about being the knight in shining armour for his family? No, he couldn't let Denise's look intimidate him. Wasn't she just a child?

By now, all the servants were looking on eager to how this drama will unfold. It was like seeing a block buster with no tickets and having first row seats. They, however, did it subtly by peeking from behind walls and pretending that they weren't even there.

"Why are you quiet? Explain to me. Why do you hate me so much? I live worse than a servant in this house and yet I carry your name. Tell me why? You call me a charity case? Haven't I paid for my upkeep in this damned house? Who works from before the sun rises and is always the last to go to sleep? Do you pay me for doing work that is supposed to be done by at least five people?" She asked again but she wasn't shedding tears. She wouldn't and won't shed tears.

Tears were for the weak.
