C13 Kneel down and Apologize.

Sonia Reed was perplexed.

Toby Fuller, a man of talent, hailed from the esteemed Fuller family. So how could Ruth Lee be so crass?

She pulled at the corner of her mouth and said, "Let's get one thing straight—I'm divorced from your son, and I haven't taken a dime from the Fuller family."

"Nonsense!" Ruth Lee refused to believe her, insisting, "If you're so broke, how could you afford to be here in this upscale place? You must have taken my son's money. Listen, Sonia Reed, even if you knelt down and begged for forgiveness, I wouldn't forgive you!"

Kneel and apologize?

Sonia nearly laughed out loud.

Ruth Lee was clearly out of her mind.

Not wanting to waste any more time, Sonia turned to leave.

But Ruth Lee, in the midst of her tantrum, wasn't about to let her escape.

"Trying to run?"

She lunged for Sonia's hair, but Connor, ever vigilant, pushed Ruth Lee aside and shielded Sonia.

Losing her balance, Ruth Lee fell back, exclaiming, "Oh my God!" She looked up to meet Connor's disdainful glare and began to wail on the floor.

"Where's the justice? I've been hit by some punk! I can't go on!"

The commotion drew a crowd, and soon Manager Hunt arrived.

Ruth Lee pointed at Connor, playing the victim to the manager, "He hit me. My back is killing me."

As a VIP customer, she expected Manager Hunt's support.

He surveyed the scene with a stern look, but upon seeing Ryan Dwyer, he was taken aback.

Ryan cut him off, "She's lying. Check the surveillance if you doubt it."

Manager Hunt, seasoned by experience, reconsidered and, with newfound respect, agreed, "Right away, I'll review the footage."

Sonia eyed Ryan, her curiosity piqued by his influence.

Was he really just a poor student from a rural village?

When Manager Hunt returned, his stance had shifted. He addressed Ruth Lee, "Ma'am, you should leave before the police arrive."

Ruth Lee blinked, "Police?"

Manager Hunt, frustrated, explained, "The camera shows you started it. How can you claim he hit you? Keep this up, and the police will come for you."

"Why?" Ruth Lee demanded.

Connor couldn't help but scoff at her stubbornness. He taunted, "At your age, how can you be so shameless? You tormented Sonia, and now that she's free from your son, you still won't leave her be. Don't think I won't confront you. Push me too far, and you'll regret it."

Ruth Lee, rattled by Connor's threat, begrudgingly left.

Connor snorted, "A bully who's afraid of a fight. Karma will find you."

His phone rang, and after a brief conversation, he glanced at Sonia.

She arched an eyebrow, "Is this about me?"

"A friend told me Assistant Benson is digging up surveillance footage from Khloe's car accident five years ago!"

Sonia's expression chilled.

Ryan, sensing her mood, inquired, "What footage?"

Connor, barely containing his fury, explained, "It's all because of Khloe. Jealous of Sonia's marriage to Toby, she twisted the truth, claiming Sonia caused her accident out of envy. And Toby, smart as he is, fell for her lies. It's unbelievable."

Ryan pondered, "Even if the video exists, what good would it do Toby now?"

"Exactly." Connor's face darkened with a sudden realization, "If Khloe can lie like that, what's stopping her from faking evidence against you?"

Sonia laughed, "I thought I'd move on after divorcing Toby, but I was naive. Some people can't let go."

Leon Aguilar was wrongfully implicated by his own daughter.

Father and daughter alike, they accused her of murder.

Did they really think she was an easy target?

Sonia's smile bloomed, "If Khloe stays out of my way, I'll let it be. But if she tries to hurt me, she'll learn I'm not to be trifled with."
