C16 Freya's POV; Almost Slept with my Husband

~Freya~

"I promised you, the next time you dressed this way, I would rip your clothes apart stitch by stitch," he growled coldly.

My heart skipped a beat as I realized what was about to happen. Was he really going to do it?

His hand made their way into my clothes as he grazed my breasts softly. Leaning in, his lips trailed my neck creating waves of uncontrollable heat from within me.

Biting my ear softly, his voice deep and husky as he whispered, "In the darkness of the night, I crave the taste of your lips against mine, the feel of your skin against mine. Freya Wolfson, what have you done to me?"

Hearing his words, I could feel the heat emanating from his body over mine. My feet quivered as I felt his hand made its way to my cunt. I could feel him harden above me. The feel of his hands against my skin left me craving for more.

No! I couldn't let this happen, not now, not ever! Inhaling sharply, I shoved him away quickly as I got up.

"How dare you!" I yelled, breathing heavily as I wrapped my hands round my bust.

Chuckling darkly, he got up from the chair as he licked his lips.

"Would you rather it be Jasper then? What do you see in him!" He argued.

"He's everything you're not," I stated.

The fury in his eyes palpable as he clenched his fists, his gaze intense as he breath heavily.

"Of course, I'm the bastard aye? The devil's son, the heartless criminal, I deserve everything I get aye?"

I couldn't understand where all this was coming from, but he couldn't be compared to Jasper, not in the slightest.

Laughing hysterically, he palmed his face as he fixed his gaze on me.

"Why do you hate me so much?" He asked.

An uneasy silence engulfed the room as we starred at each other. Shivers went down my spine as our gaze grew intense. I couldn't understand why he asked me such, nor what went through his head. Why should I bother? He's the one who takes me as a wh*re seeking his wealth. Nothing! I owe him nothing but hatred.

"There's nothing holding us to each other, it's best we live on our own terms Lucien," I stated coldly.

Turning around, I made my way out of his study. The unwavering heat engulfed me as I felt my feet go numb. Reaching my room, I locked the door behind me as I fell to the ground.

"Why am I weak?" I muttered to myself.

I couldn't understand anything. We didn't share a bond yet he makes me weak within seconds of our bodies against each other.

Getting up with much difficulty, I staggered to the bathroom. As the cold shower poured over me, I felt the heat from within dissipate slowly.

Grabbing a towel, I draped it over my wet body as I made my way to the balcony. Inhaling sharply, I delved deep into my thoughts.

Reminiscing on my past encounters with Jasper and recent encounter with Lucien, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed. Jasper is everything Lucien is not but still, I felt an insatiable desire to be with Lucien. But I shouldn't be feeling this way. The only bond between us is hate.

Despite his arrogance, he's hot, but I can't forget the fact he's a man whore. Everytime he grabs me, I want to fight back, yet the feel of his skin against mine, his eyes, his lips, the way he kissed me on our wedding, the heat I couldn't shake off, I just freeze like an imbecile. Fixing my gaze towards the sky, I asked, "Moon goddess, why put me in such a dilemma?"

Knock!

"Who is it?"

"It's Gabriel Luna."

Could Lucien be with him? Grabbing my clothes from the bed, I slid them on quickly. My heart raced as I made my way towards the door. Swinging it open, I was disappointed to see him standing alone.

"Luna, Elder Raphael has demanded your presence in the conference room at noon tomorrow," he stated.

Nodding quietly, I closed the door swiftly as he departed. Why should I feel disappointed anyways right? Unease surged through my veins as I reminisced on Gabriel's words. Raphael wants to meet with me? But why?

Remembering my first encounter with Raphael, shivers went down my spine as I shuddered. Whatever he wanted to see me for was definitely not going to be good. I didn't want to end up beaten like Lucien, yet I couldn't help but wonder what he could want from me.

Taking in mouthful breaths, I made my way to the balcony. Controlling my breathing to comfort my unease, I looked out the balcony. In the distance I noticed an unfamiliar carriage approach. I could see Raphael who stood outside the gate, draped in black attire as he went towards the carriage.

Narrowing my eyes, I looked further curiously trying to uncover what was going on.

"Ugh!"

A loud grunt disrupted my thoughts as I drifted my gaze below. It was Lucien. He seemed frustrated. I watched as he repeatedly buried his clenched fists to the ground.

I wanted to rush down and ask what happened, and why he's behaving this way. Reminiscing on our past encounter when I tried to help, I stopped myself. I'm sure he'll be fine anyway.

Turning around, I made my way to the bed. Tossing and turning, I couldn't sleep a wink. My thoughts engulfed me making me anxious. Morning was fast approaching, I felt my heart sink at the thought of meeting Raphael.

"Argh!" I exclaimed agitated. I couldn't sleep. I wonder, what Raphael was doing late at night and who or what was in the mysterious carriage.

Getting up from the bed, my door swung open, taking me by surprise as I shrieked. A tall figure emerged from the darkness walking towards me slowly.

"Who's there?" I demanded.

As it got closer, I saw a pair of familiar silver eyes staring at me. It was Lucien.

"Freya," he called in a low tone.

"What are you doing here!" I yelled.

First he keeps me in a separate room, now he barges into mine. What a pervert!

Eating up the distance between us, he grabbed my waist as he threw me to the bed.

"Luci...!" I yelled, but was interrupted by the palm of his hand covering my lips.

Leaning in, he whispered, "I'm going to make you mine tonight."
