Leslie, who was in the middle of chewing a pastry, choked slightly at Vanessa's words.

"Ahem, w... well, it can be challenging sometimes… I guess."

Vanessa nodded and continued, "Julian is quite an enigma, isn't he? He can be so closed off, right?"

"Yeah, I think that's part of his personality because he's like that to everyone. You know, all mysterious and broody," Leslie shrugged
