C1 The Prologue

Her falling body, the scenery that was getting further and further away, the cold water surrounding Yue Ling, her vision became blurry, she wanted to close her eyes but could not.

The scenery was blurred, and the figure that was heading towards Yue Ling also gradually became blurry. She tried her best to open her eyes, but she could not see clearly.

Don't come over...

He wanted to speak, but he did not have the strength. He wanted to struggle, but he could not exert any strength. He could only let his body sink.

Pain came from his eyes and he was slowly surrounded by red. He couldn't see anything but blood.

Her body was still sinking, and just as her hand was about to drop, it was grabbed tightly. A force pulled Yue Ling, and her body stopped sinking.

That familiar and ice-cold embrace was even colder than the water, but it made Yue Ling feel at ease.

She wanted to speak, but she was still unable to.

She wanted to say that she seemed to have seen him, but at the same time, she seemed to have never seen him again.

Her consciousness gradually disappeared. Yue Ling did not close her eyes, but her body had lost all strength. Her hands were tightly held by someone, and her body did not sink any further.

"In the place of Tian Xing, my life has not been severed. Demons and monsters, do not block the way. Those who have yet to die, quickly return."

An ethereal voice sounded one after another. It was like words from a dream that floated into the ears and couldn't enter the soul.

Yue Ling floated in a place filled with mist, and a patch of red entered her line of sight. She was a little curious and wanted to approach, but a figure blocked her path.

The person who came was dressed in white, with white hair that was like snow. His long hair floated down, and the end of his hair was as red as blood.

When his indifferent eyes touched Yue Ling, they turned into deep emotions that could warm people up.

When Yue Ling saw him, her face revealed a pleasantly surprised smile. She wanted to call out to him, but an ice-cold touch came from her lips.

It was his hand. It was so cold that it could freeze one's soul, but Yue Ling did not dodge it. She looked at him, her eyes filled with a longing that could drown a person.

Yue Ling reached out and held his ice-cold hand. At this moment, she was as cold as him, but she was still unwilling to let go.

"This is not a place for you." A cold voice sounded.

Yue Ling seemed to have been hypnotized, and the man's face became blurry. She tried her best to open her eyes wide, and her hands were tightly clenched. She did not want to let go, but it was futile.

In the end, Yue Ling fell into the man's arms. The man carried her and walked forward.

After he left, a white and a black figure appeared in the red.

On the road to the underworld, the Resurrection Lily bloomed. The dead were waiting here. The Black and White Impermanence took them away.

The night wind was always cool and had a sweet scent.

The night wind blew Yue Ling's long hair. She reached out her hand and slowly felt around. Her body felt warm, and a new set of clothes appeared.

There was a trace of a smile on her pale face, and it was extremely warm. She tilted her head slightly, and her eyes were tied up with a white bandage. She could only see darkness.

However, it didn't matter to her whether she could see or not.

"Tu." It was a cool and refreshing voice, like a cool summer breeze.

"Yes." A cold response sounded in the empty room.

Yue Ling stretched out her hand, and a cup appeared in her hand. The smile on her face deepened, and Yue Ling held the cup with both hands. The mist surrounded her, making her entire person look warm.

"This is the suburbs. There must be stars at night, right?" Yue Ling held the cup and looked up at the sky as if to see if there were any stars. Unfortunately, all she could see was darkness.

When she woke up, her mother, who had always paid attention to her image, hugged her and cried, but she was very calm from beginning to end.

After she comforted her mother, she comforted her grandmother, who came to see her but cried with her mother, and comforted her best friend who was worried about her.

She was so calm that she didn't look like the one who was hurt. She couldn't see it, but she could hear it. They were crying for her.

What was there to cry about? Wasn't it just that she couldn't see?

A person's fate was already decided. If she couldn't see them, why would she bother and waste her tears?

If she shouldn't be like this, then she would see the light sooner or later. Why should she be sad?

So she calmly accepted the fact that she was blind.

"No, the sky here is the same as before." A cold voice sounded in Yue Ling's ears. Although the words were cold, there was a trace of tenderness in them. The deep love in those eyes could make one addicted to it and unwilling to leave.

"Is that so?" Yue Ling lowered her head in disappointment, "When I was young, I once saw the Seven Star Pearl. It was extremely beautiful, but unfortunately, I can't see it anymore." Yue Ling stubbornly raised her head, but it was still dark. Her head was pressed down and her body was bent over.

"It's too late. Rest well. You'll be able to see the starry sky you want to see tomorrow."

Hearing those cold but caring words, Yue Ling nodded and trusted the owner of the voice with her body.

The night outside was the background, the moon was the main character, and the stars were the decorations, complementing each other. It was beautiful.
