C15 ESCAPING AGAIN
Raymond POV
Aero was howling in pain night after night, so I spent anywhere but the hospital. He was unhappy that we were with unmated females and that we were welcomed into any house we stopped by. He hated me as he thought of our mate. She was beautiful, and what I was doing was hurting myself as well. But I couldn't help but feel disappointed. I should be glad the moon goddess had given me a mate. But why did she give me one that was afraid of me? How could she run a pack with me? I couldn't see her being a strong Luna. She filled my head even when I was in bed with a female.
The female tonight was more spontaneous than the others; her moans echoed in her room as she spread her knees more and lifted her delicate ass to me. My hands were on her hips as I thrusted into her ass. My left leg was lifted up to get more rhythm and to deepen my thrust. She cried in pleasure as her face hid in the blanket she was on. I could imagine my mate's face as I closed my eyes and sped up my thrusts. It wasn't long until I grunted and released myself inside of her. After a moment of slow thrust, I pulled out and watched my useless seed fall from her.
Even if I wanted to, this female wouldn't get pregnant. There are only two ways a wolf can get someone pregnant: if the she-wolf has your mark, or when they are true mates. If they are true mates, they don't need to mark each other.
As I leaned back, I watched as the woman smiled and looked back at me. Any of these women would be willing to give me an heir, but I only nodded and got up from the bed. I knew I needed a child, but I wanted to make sure my child would be powerful. Maybe I would have one with a warrior, or an omega? I ignored the thoughts as
I heard Amanda mind-linked me about my mate. I've been ignoring her lately, but her thoughts sounded urgent as she spoke of her wanting to leave.
And that is how I got here on the floor, rejected by my beautiful mate. How was she already healed? How did she change so much? Her voice was hoarse, and she winced when she rejected me. Aero cried in pain as he turned away from me. I watched as she shifted into a black wolf, her blue eyes never looking back at me. "Alpha, did you see that?" Dr. Linn asked in shock. Of course, I did, I flipped around on my knees and shifted into Aero as quickly as I could as we rushed after her.
Her wolf was small, and she was fast. I watched as she sprinted out of the pack's hospital and into the trees. Snow had only just begun to fall last night, and by dawn, a pale hush cloaked the pack’s land. Her tracks were easy to find, and Aero was determined to catch her as we hurried on her trail. The race was a thrill, but I knew Aero wouldn't allow our mate to leave us. Even if she rejected us, we wouldn't accept it. Part of me knew I should. My father's words filled my head, and for two weeks, I thought like my father. I thought of what he taught me, but the moment I saw her, all his lessons escaped my thoughts.
It was she whom I needed. Not a warrior, not an omega. Her. No matter who she is, I needed her.
And that made Aero determined as his ear went flat and he started to kick up snow behind us as he jumped towards the black object further into the forest. It wasn't long until we found her beautiful wolf and jumped on its back. She let out a yelp as we grabbed the back of her neck and positioned ourselves over her. Of course, her wolf pushed us into the snow, rolling over our bodies, trying to get free.
But Aero placed his paws over her and gave her a growl. It would be so easy to take her right now. If I did, I wouldn't have to worry about any other females because the moment a mated couple mates for the first time, the bond is secure.
And then my father's lessons couldn't persuade my mind to leave her alone. But I restrained myself as I growled down at her whimpering form. Jane shifted and lay against the cold ground. A soft shiver ran through her as I leaned over her. My knees pushed against her hips, and my hands were over her shoulders. I was shocked to see blood now on the snow around her naked body.
Had she gotten hurt during the chase? "You reject me?" I asked. She nodded without hesitation, "Can I get an explanation?" I asked.
She only shook her head, "Then I refuse to accept your rejection. Get up, you're coming home with me." Her head whipped to the side, and she glared at me as I stood up.
She lifted her body and growled towards me as her wolf's blue eyes appeared to stare at me. She let out numerous growls that I couldn't understand. As she covered her breast with her forearm, and placed a hand between her legs. 'She can smell the females on you.' Aero said and whined as we looked down at the little wolf, 'She is not happy. Her human is upset you returned to the hospital.
The growls hold more than anger. There is sadness.' Aero said, I only sighed and looked down at the woman and grabbed her arm.
"Let's go," I said. My mate let out a shaky breath as fear coated her scent. She followed behind me obediently as we walked back towards the pack hospital. She continued to growl under her breath as she looked at the white snow with wide eyes.
Maliya POV
The white freeze hurt my feet. It burned my feet and made them colder and wet; I hated it. I hated that I was following Alpha Raymond after rejecting him. But I kept my head low as my lip occasionally lifted to growl. I'd have to wait until he's asleep to escape. But, truthfully, once I ran outside in the cold, I didn't know what to do.
Liya didn't know how to handle it, so maybe getting caught by him was a good thing. He walked beside me and took long and wide steps in the snow. He looked over to me and then stopped walking, looking at my shoulder, "What happened to your mark?" He asked, and I let out a deep breath and held my head high as I clenched my naked body.
Raymond watched as I softly shook my head. He stared at me for a moment and then let go of my arm. And for a moment, I looked back to where we were, and I could escape. But when I looked back at him, I watched as he ran off towards a tree. I could see a bin, and then he pulled out black fabric and a pair of pants.
He jogged back to me and placed the fabric on my shoulders. The wound was healing, but still the flesh showed how deep I had cut. I let go of my body and wrapped the fabric tightly around my body. Was it a towel?
Or a blanket? I couldn't tell as it fell towards my feet and stayed under my arm. Raymond pulled on the pants. He sighed, "You aren't going to talk to me, are you?"
'Is he an idiot?' Liya growled as I took a step away from him.
"Can I at least say sorry?" He asked, I stuck my nose in the air and looked away from him, "I-I didn't know how to." He stopped after a moment and moved closer to me, "I shouldn't have done it. I know that." He said.
Liya and I continued our walk, not sparing him a glance as he led us towards a brown house. He didn't stop like I did when we got close to the house. Raymond walked up the wooden patio and opened the door for us. He looked back at me, and slowly I followed him into the house. The house smelled just like him.
It was neat and organized, clean. I looked at the large couch and the kitchen as he walked past me, "The bedroom is up the stairs. I had gotten some female clothes for you when you first arrived. They are in our room." I pushed my hair out of my face as I walked towards the couch and slowly sat down. "If you want, you can get a shower." He said and watched as I tried to get comfortable on the couch, "I can make you some dinner..."
He mumbled on as I held what I determined to be a blanket closer to me and got on the ground. Once my knees touched the ground, I called defeat and lay on my side. I curled into a ball and stared at the dust under the small table that was in front of me.
Besides the dust, I could see everything past it on the side. Even when another small table rested. Raymond walked towards me and got on his knees. He lay in front of me so I would look at him, "I'm sorry." He said once again, his eyes growing light as his wolf took control, "I promise, we will make it up to you. No matter what it takes." His wolf promised.
My wolf casually took control and gave him a nasty growl as she bared her teeth towards the man who was supposedly our mate. Liya let go of the control and allowed me to watch as his plump lips fell into a frown. The first time I saw him, his face was shaved; now he had a full beard growing. His face was full of sadness as he watched me. He watched as I stared at him and softly smiled, but all he got in return was me turning away to come face-to-face with the couch.
Alpha Raymond fell asleep on the floor, on the other side of the table that was between us, while I fell in and out of sleep. When morning came, he tried to talk to me again. He was met with silence and went on about his day. He came to me multiple times throughout the day to ask me if I was okay or if I needed something.
The answer was the same for all those questions: silence. Rage filled my body as I thought of him with other females while I sat alone in a white room. Did he fuck them the way his beta fucked me? Did he use them and hurt them and then leave? My stomach twisted in disgust as I kept Liya behind my mind, and I allowed my body to relax.
I've been on the floor for three days, not moving, not eating, not even thinking. So many emotions filled me and left me completely numb. Even though I barely knew Alpha Aeron, I was comfortable enough to want his comfort. I loved hearing his voice, and I loved when he asked me questions throughout the day. But I hated what he had done. Nightmare after nightmare filled my dreams. Making it almost impossible to sleep. Sometimes I dreamed of my Uncle, other times I dreamed of that room. It was the third night of being on the floor. My body was stiff as I tried to sleep.
