C7 Meeting Again

When Lu Zitian was nearly drunk, he realized that he had to go back as he had an important meeting the next day. He stood up and called his assistant, Ye Chen to come over. Excusing himself from the other three men in the room, he stepped out for a smoke.

As he opened the door, the large dance area of the bar came into view. He headed towards the counter to find a place with few people.

He breathed out a few rings of smoke as he thought about his own life. His life was all about the Lu Group. There had never been anything else he had paid attention to.

Although his parents and his grandfather had tried introducing many young ladies to him, none of them had ever entered his eyes. He considered it unnecessary to get married and start a family. But with every passing year, his family was putting more and more pressure on him to date and get married.

At first, they wanted the eldest daughter-in-law of Lu Family to have a very good background, but now they were so desperate for a daughter-in-law that they told Lu Zitian, as long as her character and personality is good, they would welcome her with open arms.

But, today Old man Lu had threatened him saying, if he doesn't get married in another 3 months, his family would fix his marriage with whoever they wanted to.

Although they did not mention who they would fix his marriage with, he knew it would be the lady of Cai Family, Cai Qingyun. The Lu family and Cai family had been family friends for 3 decades. He saw her as a friend and a sister. He didn't want her to waste her life for something he could never give to her.

Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw a girl sitting down a few chairs away from him. She was wearing very ordinary clothes, a top and skinny jeans, but still managed to be eye-catching. She had silky waist length hair, hazel eyes that were filled with tears, her plump lips were quivering and muttering something. She had an alluring figure, seductive like a fox spirit, but still looked delicate.

Lu Zitian, who had seen beauties of all types and was immune to it, felt that this girl was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. But somehow, he had a sudden feeling of familiarity towards this face.

Lu Zitian's phone rang, seeing his assistant's name flash, he turned towards the private room he previously was in to bid farewell to his friends. Seeing him leave, the other three also decided to leave with him as it was quite late.

The four men walked out of the room towards the exit. All of a sudden, a girl ran towards them and hugged Lu Zitian who was walking ahead.

Zhao Shaoming, Gu Yunze and Bai Yichen felt pity for the little girl. Everybody in the city knew that Lu Zitian hated physical contact, especially with the opposite sex. This girl was doomed, they thought.

Lu Zitian looked down at the soft and delicate body that had embraced him, she had a sweet smell on her body, which wasn't from a perfume.

"Darling, you came?", a sweet voice spoke, as a pair of teary eyes looked at him with endless adoration.

A sudden memory came back to Lu Zitian as he remembered why this girl was familiar to him. She was the girl he had slept with about a year ago. At that time, she was drugged and entered his room. She had a beautiful body and stuck herself on him. Due to a sudden impulse, he had done it with her. He knew it was her first as he had seen the blood on the sheets the next morning. Who knew that they would be meeting again in this manner.

He had never realised that she would be such an interesting girl. He lifted his eyes and spotted the men who were chasing her, one of them was a barely influential person, the CEO of Xing Ye Entertainment. He had long seen through the act of adoration displayed by this petite woman in front of him. His lips curled up into a faint smile as he looked at her and realized the situation.

On the other side, behind Lu Zitian, Zhao Shaoming and Ye Chen had their jaws dropped. Gu Yunze looked on with widened eyes. As for Bai Yichen, the astonishment lasted on his face for a moment and then he smiled gently. He knew this day would surely come. He was happy that his lonely little brother, Lu Zitian had finally found interest in someone. As for love, it would surely come with time.
