C4 Ethan

Gwen's head still spun, she couldn't feel her body and she....drank water.

Water?

Her consciousness slowly came back.

where was she? she opened her eyes and all she saw was blue. Then it dawned on her. Water? she was inside water.

her previous memories came flooding in. Magdalena?. Wait a minute, was Magdalena responsible for this? that con artist of a woman threw her into a pool?

She felt lucky in the midst of her present predicament because she could swim very well. That was part of the things she benefitted from her mom's maltreatment.

Okay, she had to get out of this pool and then she would go back to Magdalena's house and demand an explanation to this trickery.

She started off then paused. Where was this place? She knew all the riverbanks because Imogen sent her to literally all the riverbanks, both far and near to fetch water. So why did this place look unfamiliar?

"Magnus, fetch it! " she heard someone say that and she decided to follow the voice and when she found people, she would ask them for directions.

She once never had to ask for directions, the thought of it was absurd because she knew almost everywhere but now why didn't she know this place? Did Magdalena do something to mess with her brain and make her not to recognise things and places?

She followed the voice and she found two men and a lady.

"hello" she called, to grab their attention.

the reaction she got from them when they saw her was strange. She hadn't induced such reaction from anyone before

"Elena!!" the three of them chorused and then, to her utmost surprise, they all bowed down before her.

the lady got up and rushed to her

"where have you been, Elena?" the lady said

"We've all been worried about you since the news of your kidnap spread throughout the packs" the man said

"we need to keep you safe first " the lady said and dragged her towards a tree's shade

"we'll go alert Lucas" the two men chorused, bowed before her again and rushed off

This was surreal and confusing. She pinched herself hard on her cheek, she pinched hard enough to wake her from any sort of dream she was having?

Who the hell was Elena? and why were people she'd never set her eyes on bowing down to her. Was she some sort of deity?

whatever the hell this was, it just wasn't in any of her concerns. she had to get back home or to Magdalena's house or wherever, just not in this place or with this people.

"where have you been Elena?" the lady asked her again

She let out a short cold laugh

"look, You guys are mistaken. I'm not Elena. I don't even know who the girl is" she explained

This was too much for her to bear in just a day. She was tired of this nonsense.

"Magdalena? Where the hell are you? I'm done with this dumb ass prank..... show yourself and take me out of here "

Gwen walked farther away from the tree's shade into the open as she kept on calling Magdalena.

"Where the hell are you, Magdalena. I never thought you'd turn out to be a bitch, just like Imogen. So why'd you pretend to care-"

Her speech was cut off as she felt something cover her head and then, she felt someone carry her up

She struggled against the person but it didn't work.

She could only bite her lip in agitation, after she'd finished struggling and pray that she wouldn't lose her young life.

Where had they taken her to?

Gwen woke up because she felt someone drop her.

she then opened her eyes.

"Elena, are you alright?"

she couldn't count how many heads surrounded her now.

They all looked at her with worried eyes.

then a guy came in front of her, blocking the other heads and placed his palm on her cheek.

"Elena" he called "what happened?"

Ethan?

Oh my God!! Ethan? what was her brother doing here with this weird people and why did he join them to call her Elena. Did Magdalena do something to him too?

Where was that bitch?

"Ethan?" she said as she stared at him. "look Ethan, I'm in a bit of a bind, I don't know these people here and they keep calling me Elena. I....."

She put a pause to her babbling when she noticed the confused look he gave her.

"who's Ethan?" he asked, confused

Gwen opened her mouth to talk, but closed it back. what was going on?

"Elena love, tell me what Shawn did to you. I'll tell Raphael and he'll punish....."

As her gaze locked with the strange man who stared at her with nothing but concern, everything dawned on her. she remembered her conversation with Magdalena before she came here, she told Magdalena that she wanted to go to another world where people cared about her

She didn't believe that Magdalena was a witch until now.

she was in another freaking world!

this guy she now stared at was her brother Ethan in her world, and he was a different person in this world.

it all became clear to her.

But the question was, what type of world was she in? and why did they keep on calling her Elena?

did she look like Elena?

Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard a voice

"what's going on there?" she heard a loud male voice and she raised her head from the guy's arm to see who it was. Suddenly all the people that gathered around her, parted, paving way for the guy who spoke to pass.

"Elena?" he exclaimed when he saw her tear stained face then he rushed to her and hugged her then placed a kiss on her forehead.

"what happened? I was about to go visit Shawn. I was about to go make a bargain for your safety and release. but how are you here? How......?"

She gaped. In her confusing situation, she couldn't ignore those looks.

This guy who stood in front of her right now was smoking hot. she'd never seen anyone as gorgeous as he was. his sand brown hair was tousled as strands dropped on his forehead. he had a perfectly angled jaw and she could stare into his dreamy hazel eyes for a long time.

where had he been all her life?

Even if she felt bedazzled by him, she still had to clear up a misunderstanding.

"I'm not Elena. how many times do I have to say it?. I don't even know her. I haven't met any Elena in my whole life"

They all fell silent. Tension and confusion, evident in the atmosphere.

"what are you saying, my love. Did Shawn do anything to you....." Raphael asked her

"is she sick, Lucas? where did you find her?" Shawn wasn't talking to her this time but to the guy who looked like Ethan.

"I'm not sure of that. Maybe Shawn or Maya tortured her somehow and it messed with her brain. Magnus and Grant, my wolves found her" the guy who looked like Ethan responded

why did they keep saying wolves? were there any wolves around? or did these people keep wolves as pets? she felt like she hadn't seen the last of these strange people.

"does she have some kind of memory loss? Calvin asked Dante, the guy who looked like her brother Pete

"I think so" Dante answered. "she doesn't recognize anyone and she calls me Pete"

"those jerks!" Calvin yelled "how bad did they hurt my mate?"

Calvin turned to her

"don't worry my love, let's go in, so I'll put you to sleep and while you're asleep, I'll call the salutary wolves to attend to you " he said

She had to say, these people were delirious. Wolves again? what business did wolves have with them? And what did it have to do with her? she couldn't help her curiosity

"wolves?" she asked

"yes, love"

"you guys have wolves?" she asked in perplexity

Before he could answer her, she saw it for herself

she saw wolves. real wolves. she felt her breath begin to leave her.

she pointed towards them in terror and everyone looked their direction

"what.... what" she gasped

just then she saw the most unbelievable sight ever, something she'd only seen in movies. something she would have never believed if someone told her about it.

she saw the two wolves morphing. human legs appeared, then human hands, then a head with eyes, nose and mouth, just like hers.

The wolves she saw just a second ago had turned into human beings. where the hell was she? Where had Magdalena taken her to?

She couldn't take this no more. she let out a loud terrified shriek and passed out, due to the shock of it all.
