C7 She Is Just a Transparent Person!

She did not eat lunch. Priscilla stood on the balcony with her ID in her hand.

It was cold in the 18th floor. The wind was blowing her hair.

Why was she so conflicted about getting divorced? Didn't she always want to divorce? Wasn't it all for this moment?

Why didn't she want to go? Was she afraid or not?

Her thoughts were in a mess. She looked at her watch and saw that it was time. She hurriedly turned around and went downstairs.

Lachlan was already waiting there. She remembered that she had gotten her certificate of marriage last year. It was the same scene. He leaned against the car and looked at his watch impatiently. When he saw her, he went in first. From the beginning to the end, the two of them did not say a word.

Today, he looked at her calmly as she walked towards him.

"You have to know that I am never used to waiting. This is the second time. Remember this." As he spoke, he went in first.

There were very few people in the Civil Affairs Bureau, and fewer people were divorced.

When they handed over the documents, the staff looked at them and then looked at the documents.

"You have only been married for a year. Are you really going to divorce?"

"Do you need to know so much?" Lachlan's sinister expression scared the other party into retracting his gaze.

"It's necessary to ask you about this. It saves you the trouble of regretting it in the future. Here, this is the form. Fill it out and then give me your stamp." He did not say anything else. He took out the form and taught them to fill it out.

Priscilla took a deep breath and took the form. Just as she was about to write it down, the man beside her had already finished filling in the form and returned it to the staff.

It was as if they had just registered for the marriage, without any hesitation.

She stared at him in a daze. All of this seemed like a dream. It was as if they had just gotten married yesterday, but they were going to divorce today. However, the feelings from that day were as heavy as today. Shouldn't they be happy today?

"Why? Are you unwilling to part with me?" Lachlan, who had her arms crossed over her chest, saw Priscilla's hesitation and mocked, "Don't tell me you already love me."

She glanced at him indifferently and gritted her teeth. She immediately picked up the pen.

After filling in the form, she was about to submit it when a middle-aged woman suddenly entered the office. She was wearing the same uniform as the staff. She leaned over and whispered something into the ears of the person who had given them the form. The person raised his head in surprise. "This... is not appropriate, right? This is a divorce between a couple."

"Just do as you see fit." As she spoke, she left.

The man holding their forms was in a dilemma. "It seems like... the higher-ups said that we can't get you a divorce today."

"Why?" Lachlan slammed the table and stood up. She leaned over and looked at the man angrily. Her eyes were about to spew fire.

"I heard that your relatives are not allowed to divorce you..." The man shrank back into his seat.

Priscilla paused for a moment. She knew that there was no one other than Foster who could do this.

"Damn it!" Lachlan understood what Foster meant. He pondered for a moment and took back the form. He squeezed it into a ball and threw it away.

Priscilla took their marriage certificate and ID and went out.

His car was no longer there.

It was already four in the afternoon. When she went back to work, others had already left work, so she took the bus back home.

There were two cars parked at the door. One was Lachlan's, and the other was familiar to Rosetta. It was Lachlan's birthday present last year.

She didn't want to go in, but she had nowhere to go. It was already dark, and it seemed like it was going to rain at any moment. She couldn't go anywhere. Besides, they had to eat her cooking later. No matter if she was working overtime or on the way home, she had to go home and serve them dinner.

It was not because she cooked a lot of food, but because Rosetta wanted to torture Priscilla. Priscilla knew very well that Rosetta wanted to trample her on the ground and make her look worse than a maid in Lachlan's eyes. When Priscilla first saw Rosetta, she thought that she was a gentle and peaceful woman. The more she interacted with her, the more she knew that she was actually a venomous scorpion. She was not a vegetarian in the future.

She opened the door lightly, and a burst of ambiguous and heavy breathing rushed into her ears.

The two smooth bodies on the sofa stopped moving after she opened the door.

Rosetta looked at her and exclaimed in surprise. She quickly grabbed the clothes on the ground to cover herself.

Lachlan, on the other hand, stared at her without any restraint. He wrapped his arms around Rosetta and continued to flirt with her in front of her.

"Don't..."

"What are you afraid of? She is just a transparent person. If you want to tell me a secret, just tell me. It doesn't matter." As he spoke, his seductive eyes kept staring at Priscilla's indifferent face.

Priscilla took a deep breath and walked upstairs.

Lachlan looked at her poker face that was still as indifferent as before. For some reason, he felt an inexplicable anger in his chest. He straightened his back and heard the seductive scream of the woman under him, "Ah! Hao! It hurts..."

Priscilla quickened her pace.
