C5 Chapter 5

Lilly pulled at Yen and said, "How can you talk to a child like that! Look at how scared Sara is!"

Yen snorted coldly and said, "She thinks she's all grown up now!"

Sara merely pursed her lips, and did not speak.

Lilly pulled Sara's arm affectionately and asked, "Sara, how are you doing here?"

Sara felt like her arm was being tangled by a poisonous snake, which was very uncomfortable. She quietly pulled her arm away from Lilly and answered, "I'm fine."

Lilly smiled and said, "You have married well. Look at how prestigious the Bishop family is, and how powerful Master Bishop is...

In the past, Sara would have shown Lilly some respect. But now, Sara was utterly disgusted by the look on her face.

"Marriage? How could Lilly call this act of human trafficking a marriage?!" Sara thought furiously.

She really was impressed by Lilly. Not long ago, Lilly was still sneering at Sara for being the daughter of a home-wrecker and sarcastically said that she should repay the kindness of Martin family by raising Sara. But just now, Lilly was holding Sara's arm so intimately. How could she be so shameless?!

Sara immediately knew that Lilly had some ulterior motive. She needed Sara's help.

Sara stared at her and questioned, "Why didn't you arrange for William to marry Master Bishop instead?"

There was a hint of mockery in Sara's tone.

The smile on Lilly's face froze.

Yen replied instead, "What are you talking about?! How can an excellent girl like your sister marry that devil!"

Sara's expression changed immediately and exclaimed, "Dad, you're currently in the Bishop household!"

Yen knew he had just said something wrong. He quickly shut his mouth, glared at Sara then warned her, "You'd better know your place too!"

Lilly interrupted, "That's enough, Yen! Watch your tone when you speak to Sara!"

Lilly looked at Sara with a tender look and said, "Sara, your father is just angry. We had waited for quite a while. You know your father's temper. Forgive him."

Sara finished her meal in less than ten minutes, and it took definitely less than fifteen minutes before she met them. It was indeed a long time for Yen and William in comparison to the past where she had to appear immediately after a call.

Sara remained unmoved. There was not a single expression on her fair cheeks when she said, "Just say it frankly. Why are you looking for me?"

Her voice was soft and gentle but she had kept her tone cold.

The smile on Lilly's face disappeared, and she cursed inside, "How dare this little b*tch refuse when given a chance!". At that, Lilly stopped pretending and said frankly, "Since you have entered the Bishop family and survived, it means that you must be quite scheming. Go talk to Master Bishop, and let him help William get in King College!"

Sara's pupils contracted as she looked at the arrogant Lilly in utter disbelief.

King College was the best high school in the entire Country. Ordinary people wouldn't be able to enroll at all. They only accepted children from prestigious families. People who graduated there were guaranteed entrance to renowned universities even without taking college examinations.

William had always wanted to join King College, not because she was afraid that she couldn't get into a good university, but because there were a lot of geniuses and talented people there. All of them were the children of the nobility. It would be amazing to make friends among them, and not to mention the most intelligent teachers provided in King.

Apparently, when Lilly and Yen sent her into the Bishop family, they were paving the way for William. If Sara was tortured to death by Hank, then the fund would still help the funding gap of Martin Pharma. In contrast, if she survived, they would use her as an advantage and have her to help William getting enrolled in King College...

Sara looked at her father, and at that instant she found the situation hilarious.

"How can they be so biased? How can my father be willing to send me to death, just for the sake of William's bright future?" Sara couldn't understand.

William looked at Sara's distressed expression and smiled. "Sara, don't feel wronged. After all, your mother is a mistress. You should not have existed in this world. It was Father's and Mother's kindness to spare your life. How could you not repay them?"

Sara was so angry that her fingers trembled. She looked at William like a little beast that was angered and said aloud, "I won't do it!"

Yen said angrily, "How dare you! You must even if you don't want to!"

Lilly smiled and said, "I've already asked the servants of the Bishop family to invite their elderly Madam over on your behalf. Sara, be smart, you know what to do!"

Sara gritted her teeth.

"How could these people be so shameless?" She thought in anger.

Lilly leaned closer and spoke in a low voice, "Sara, don't forget that your grandfather is still in the hospital. I can make him leave you forever if I wish."

Sara bit down hard on her lips.

Grandpa...

He was the only family member Sara had left, she could not let anything bad happen to him.

Lilly smiled smugly and gently touched Sara's hair as she said, "Sam, I knew you are always a good girl."

Disgusted, Sam tried to move away from Lilly's touch.

Lilly didn't mind since she had achieved her goal anyway. As for Sara, to her, she was just a b*tch who would not be living any longer. Entering Master Bishop's territory would reunite her with her biological mum in the near future.

The elderly Madam of the Bishop family was already 90 years old but she was still very energetic. Even though her hair was completely white, she still carefully tied it up into a bun. She was dressed in a loose silk dress, embroidered with intricate floral designs. There was another woman, dressed in a similar style, supporting the elderly Mrs. Bishop from the back as they both entered the front hall.

Based on her looks, the elderly madam seemed very unkind and somewhat mean. Mrs. Bishop's only son died young. She only had two grandsons left. One was the current master of the Bishop family, Simon Bishop; and the other was the devil, Hank Bishop, who everyone would try to escape from.

Perhaps it was because Mrs. Bishop was used to being in charge of power when the grandchildren were young, her working style was very arbitrary.

She didn't even look at the few people from the Martin family. She directly sat down on the chair and the servants quickly served her tea.

Yen and Lilly were very arrogant in front of Sara earlier but when they saw Mrs. Bishop, they didn't dare to say a word.

Mrs. Bishop didn't like Sara from the very beginning. She just perfunctorily bought Sara to entertain her grandson, Hank, so she could not be bothered about the Martin family at all. Earlier when Mrs. Bishop learned that Sara had requested to meet her, she felt even more sickened. This little girl had just entered the Bishop family yesterday and already started asking for favors. Mrs. Bishop couldn't help to think that it would cause a disaster in the future if they decided to keep her.

"There won't be a future for her here anyway..." Mrs. Bishop thought to herself.

Mrs. Bishop gave Sara a contemptuous look and sneered in her heart. She knew her grandson well that he would not keep an unidentified person by his side. Now that she was here, she was just doing Hank a favor.

"Girl, why did you look for me?" Mrs. Bishop asked Sara with a cold look in her eyes.

Sara only lowered her head and did not speak. Lilly quickly pinched Sara.

Sara's skin was very soft and delicate. She would usually get bruised easily whenever she hit something. The pinch hurt badly, and she was sure that it would leave an ugly bruise behind.

She took a deep breath, raised her head and replied, "Yes."

"This will be the last time... When I bring Grandpa away... I would no longer have to be threatened by these people..." Sara thought.

"Mrs. Bishop, I'd like to ask for your help to enroll my sister at King College," she said politely.
