C9 Heavyweight Guest

"Morning, Mr. Henson."

Connie stuttered as she greeted him. She was so nervous that she almost bit her tongue.

"Why did you wake up so early?"

After wiping the sweat off his face, Holden walked to the kitchen and poured himself a cup of water before walking out again.

Connie hurriedly replied, "When I was living in the orphanage, I would make breakfast for my friends every morning. I have already gotten used to it."

"Oh?"

Hearing this, Holden raised his eyebrows in surprise, "You mean you can make breakfast?"

"Yes."

Connie nodded and saw Holden put down the cup of water and said to her, "Since that's the case, you will be responsible for breakfast today. I'll go upstairs to take a shower and change my clothes. After half an hour, I'll come downstairs to eat."

"Wait..."

Seeing that he was ready to go upstairs, Connie hurriedly stopped him. "Mr. Henson, are you sure you want to eat my breakfast?"

"Is there a problem?" He raised his eyes and asked indifferently.

Connie said with some cold sweat, "My cooking skills... are not comparable to your chef. Are you sure you want to eat it?"

With such a delicate body like his, if he ate it wrong, she would not be able to take the responsibility!

"If you want to do it, then do it. As a maid, you only need to listen to me during school hours and carry out my orders. Don't have too many questions."

After saying that coldly, Holden retracted his gaze and went upstairs without looking at Connie again.

Connie stood in her original position, her eyes wide open. She thought to herself, 'Since you said so, if something happens, it won't be my fault.'

After entering the kitchen, Connie first went to the refrigerator to confirm the ingredients.

There was a full cabinet of food, and there were all kinds of food. Connie picked a few from the cabinet and started to get busy.

About half an hour later, a few steaming dishes were served on the table. Holden had just changed his clothes and went downstairs.

He walked to the dining table and looked at the porridge and some side dishes on the table. He did not comment on them.

"Ahem, I only know how to make simple things. I don't know if they will be to your liking."

Connie did not have much hope for holding onto holden's taste.

After all, a big shot like him usually ate delicacies. How could he be used to simple food?

Just as she was thinking about it, she saw that Holden had already pulled out a chair and picked up a pair of chopsticks. He put a dish into his mouth.

Connie carefully watched his reaction.

Holden chewed it and did not show much of a reaction. Then, he picked up the porridge and drank a mouthful.

"How... How is it?"

Connie asked softly, her heart especially nervous.

Holden did not say anything and continued to eat quietly. He only wiped his mouth elegantly when he finished the bowl of porridge. He raised his eyes and said to her, "Don't go into the kitchen in the future. You are not good at cooking. You are a taste killer."

Connie almost fell to the ground when she heard this.

You were the one who made breakfast, and you were the one who wanted to eat it. Did I force you to do it?

Even if it wasn't delicious, at least you should have said it in a more tactful manner.

Although she was cursing in her heart, Connie did not have the guts to say it out loud.

"I'm going out. Remember to give me a copy of your schedule when you come back."

Standing up from the chair, Holden picked up his coat and turned around to walk out of the door.

Connie followed closely behind him. Her attitude was really like a little maid. She said, "Yes, Mr. Henson, take care."

After he left, Connie went upstairs to pack her things and prepare to go to school.

The place she was living at was too far from the school. It would take more than ten stops to get to the bus. It was also the morning peak of work, so she had to take almost an hour to get there.

Speaking of Connie's school, it could be considered one of the top art academies in Findochty.

Her major was photography, and she also studied advertisement design. Her academic results always occupied the top spot, and she was also a cash cow.

In short, she was a famous figure in school.

When Connie rushed to the school, it was already half past eight. As soon as she walked into the classroom, she saw her desk mate and best friend, Lindsay, running towards her at a speed of 100 meters per second. At the same time, she shouted at her in a loud voice, "Connie, what time is it now? Why are you here? Do you want to die?"

"What happened?"

Connie was shocked. She hurriedly used her hands to block in front of her and asked vigilantly.

"You still want to ask? Today is the school anniversary! It's the school anniversary! The student council has given us a mission. Don't tell me you forgot?"

Lindsay's face was filled with anger as she said this.

After being reminded by her, Connie patted her forehead and exclaimed, "Oh no, I really forgot."

Today was the school's 60th anniversary. In order to make the school anniversary even more grand, they invited many distinguished guests. The photography department was responsible for taking pictures of the entire event.

"What do we do now? Have the guests arrived? Is it too late for us to go over now?"

"Where did you go earlier?"

Seeing Connie's nervous expression, Lindsay snapped.

However, she still stuffed a small camera into Connie's hands and said, "I have already arranged for other students to replace you at the school gate. Now, you follow me to the auditorium and be responsible for the filming inside."

"Lindsay, thank you. You are the best."

Connie pretended to be touched as she said this to Lindsay. She was just about to kiss her.

Lindsay said in disdain, "Don't come here. Let's go. The guests who will be present today are all rich people in Findochty. Not only will they donate to the school, they will also sponsor some outstanding clubs and high school students. The student council has put in a lot of effort to pull in sponsors. We have to do our best. Otherwise, we will die miserably."

"Don't worry, I promise I will complete the task."

Connie patted her chest and promised.

About fifteen minutes later, Connie and Lindsay arrived at the hall together.

The hall, which could hold nearly a thousand people, was already packed with people.

"So many people. How are we going to get through?"

Looking at the crowd, Connie swallowed hard.

"Of course, we have to squeeze through. Let's go. There are already guests in the hall."

Lindsay pulled her into the crowd without saying a word.

There were people everywhere. Connie and Lindsay struggled to squeeze through the crowd. When they finally reached the entrance of the VIP area, the two of them looked like they had just been robbed. Their hair was messy and their clothes were crooked. Even the camera that was hanging in front of them had been taken away.

"Ahem, it's too scary. I almost died."

Connie put the camera on her neck and patted her chest as she coughed.

Lindsay patted her back and said, "What can we do? There is a heavyweight in the VIP area today. Many people are here for him. Look over there, there is a dance club, astronomy club, literature club, calligraphy club, painting club... They are all busy trying to get sponsors."
