I park my car in the garage and alight from it. I walk to the front door and ring the bell. Just Alora and I live here now. Luna’s parents insisted on taking her home after the miscarriage and there was nothing I could do.

I miss her.

Her sweet melodious voice that always caused blood to sing in my veins anytime she spoke
