Hours later...

Jake's POV

I finally finished with the last document. Closing it , I placed it on the pile of files I had done.

I hurriedly tidied the table .

I picked up my suitcase and walked out of the office.

I got into my car , dropping the suitcase on the chair beside mine , I started the car and maneuvered my way out of the parking lot , heading home.

As I drove home
