C2 Half-way

She only went to his villa to wait on him when he needed her, then took a cheque when she left. He was neither gentle nor happy, it really had nothing to do with her, they just took what they needed.

The woman's happy laughter stopped for a moment because of the arrival of food. After a short while, she began to act coquettishly again. Mu Xu frowned. She was already used to not panicking, but today she suddenly got a little annoyed.

Ye Tong should have doted on that woman, but he actually fed that woman in public. Mu Xu pushed away the plate in front of her in annoyance. There was still half of the curry left, but she didn't want to try it now, so she waved the waiter over to settle the bill.

It was the first time she had ever challenged something she didn't like. When she walked out of the restaurant, she took a deep breath and realized that it was raining outside.

This June, Mu Xu sighed as he stood at the entrance of the mall waiting for a taxi.

Because of the rain, the taxi business was exceptionally good. She waited for more than ten minutes, but still couldn't get to the taxi. She was still annoyed when she heard a laugh. She turned around and realized Leaves was hugging the woman as she appeared.

When they got in the car, Ye Tong seemed to look at her, Mu Xu looked away, then saw the woman kiss his face. For some reason, she suddenly wanted to try out the feeling of running in the rain.

With that in mind, she immediately took action, took off her shoes, and entered the rain mist with her bare feet.

Leaves Tong's gaze paused for a moment as she looked at her in the rain!

When he returned to his bachelor apartment, Mu Xu's body was already soaked. His long hair was drenched and draped over his wet body, looking very miserable yet had a new flavor to it. Mu Xu looked in the mirror and grinned pathetically at himself.

She soaked herself in warm water and took a beautiful bath. However, she heard her cell phone buzz.

She didn't need to guess to know who sent the message. She just didn't think that with that woman, he would still ask her over tonight.

But the contract was there, and she had to get up from the warm water and dry herself. She wrapped a towel around herself and began to make up.

An hour later, an unfamiliar face appeared in the mirror. It was very beautiful, but it did not look real.

Mu Xu sighed heavily. As she put on her clothes, she heard her phone ring again regularly.

He cut to the screen, the four words were simple and straightforward, "Come over earlier!"

Mu Xu froze for a moment. Under normal circumstances, Ye Tong would only let her go at night. Although it wasn't a big deal if the man wasn't married, Mu Xu still felt that there was a hint of a clandestine love affair, but she didn't mind.

What she cared about was that it was still afternoon, and there was still an hour or two left before nightfall. What urgent matter could he have to call her over so early in the morning?

The point was, he only sent one word every time he asked her to come over. "Come over here."

Did I see a ghost today?

Or did that girl make him unhappy?

Mu Xu felt a bit of panic in his heart.

After tidying up for a long time and confirming that there were no flaws, she left the apartment in a beautiful manner and walked towards Leaf Tong.
