C11 Engagement

"You little lass, you've forgotten me right.?, you never even called once to see how this old man is faring, but you expect me to give you action figures?"

"Director Kang, sorry I was busy, you have no idea how difficult it is to take care of twins and study too, you should be glad that I'm finally back, or are you not happy to see me?"

"Aiyo, I'm super happy. Make me proud by excelling in your studies hmm?"

"Yes director"

"So you wanted action figures right?... here they are, these are limited edition action figures of both spider man and doctor strange with a little surprise for you"

Chae Yuna arched her brow in amusement and said to a worker "pack all these up, here is my card"

She handed the worker a black credit card and turned to look at the director "so what's the surprise?"

He laughed and said "you're still as impatient as I remember" then he brought out something in a tinted box, and said

"It's not much but I'm sure you'll like it"

Chae Yuna smiled and said "anything you give me, I'll most definitely like it"

"Aiyo, little lass you just have a sweet mouth. Anyway you better get going and feed the little ones"

Yuna stood up and bowed slightly, then left with her kids.

"Sir we have a problem"

Jeon Taeyong stared at his personal assistant and said "go ahead"

"Sir madam has decided to move your engagement date to two weeks from now so she wants you to get ready"

Taeyong nodded slightly and his assistant left then he called a number and said

"Book all the good halls in Seoul and beyond, don't leave any available"

"Right away sir" the man on the other end answered and he ended the call.

Jeon Taeyong smirked and continued working. A few hours later, Kim Hana burst into his office with a pout on her lips and whined

"Taeyong you won't believe what just happened"

The man just stared at her like she had grown horns but didn't say anything so she continued

"Taeyong I went to book a hall for an engagement but guess what? All the halls here in Seoul are unavailable for the next one month and our engagement is in two weeks"

Jeon Taeyong gave her a piercing stare and said "cancel the engagement"

"What?" She asked completely shocked then he continued

"I'll save you the shame, cancel the engagement now or I'll do it myself"

"Taeyong you can't do that to me please, even if I cancel it now, it'll still be very embarrassing for me but not you, please I'll wait. I'll wait for a year but you can't back out of this union, no, never!"

He chuckled and said "fine, have it your way"

Jeon Taeyong left the office after that, leaving a sobbing Kim Hana behind.

Back in Jasmine mansion, Chae Yuna had already returned with her kids and they were having lunch.

"Yuna, what do you think of the company?" Jisung suddenly asked

"It's nice and really stable"

"Oh"

Chae Yuna looked at Jising and asked "why? Is something wrong?... Wait, don't tell me. You've finally decided to go abroad for your eye surgery and you need me to take care of the company while you're gone right?"

Jisung shook his head and said "I'm not going to undergo any surgery for my eyes do you understand?... I just want you to take over the company for a few months while I settle somethings abroad"

"Oh, in that case I'll send someone to go with yyou. When will you be leaving by the way?"

"Two nights after the Jeon's party"

"The Jeon's have a party?"

"Yes. It's their son's engagement party and I was invited with a pause one"

"And I'm the plus one, I know. I'll take care of everything while you take care of security, you have a keen eye for loyal underlings"

"Sure"

Jisoo suddenly dropped her chopsticks and said "uncle if you and mummy are going for a party, isn't it right that you bring Jisung and me along?"

Jisung said "no darling. It's an adult party. You'll have to stay here with your brother"

"Oh"

After dinner they all freshened up and went to bed.
