C13 On the engagement day

On the engagement day

Lights flashed, cameras clicked and soft indistinct chatter ensued. The reporters greedily took pictures of the elites walking into the grand hall in pairs of two's but Kim Hana sat nervously in front of a dressing mirror while the elders teased her

"Aish, child you don't have to be so scared"

"Yes, back in my day, we were never nervous instead we were all excited to finally leave our parents house"

"Kid if you are this scared on your engagement day, I wonder how you'll be on your wedding day ?"

They all burst out laughing before they left.

As soon as they left, Chae Bitna entered the room and said

"I can't believe you're getting engaged. Oh em gee, like girl I am so happy for you but promise me you won't forget me after you leave"

Kim Hana smiled and said "stop acting like I'm leaving for good. I'm only getting engaged so we still have some time together"

They both hugged.

Chae Bitna helped her cover her face with a veil and held her hand, helping her into the main hall.

Jeon Taeyong sat on a gold chair with his legs crossed. He wore a black tailored suit and the edges of the trousers looked as sharp as blades. Inside the suit, he wore a pink shirt and pink tie that drove the ladies insane, his hair was packed behind his head in a man bun and gelled to stay in place with one short strand making a cut across his left eyebrow. His left eyebrow had a shiny piercing right below it, and behind he wore small diamond earrings on both his ears.

Although he wore a tie, the first two buttons of his shirt were left opened and a few chains could be seen. One of them looked like ice. He didn't wear a ring but had four black and silver bracelets on his right wrist and on the left sat a black rolex watch.

Kim Hana decended the stairs in slow motion. She almost gasped when she saw Jeon Taeyong but managed to keep her cool and calmly walked towards him. Before she could get to him, the doors burst open and the spotlight immediately pointed towards it.

A man came in wearing a blue tuxedo. The buttons on the tuxedo was made of pink colored stones and the light from the spotlight shone on it but it bounced off and reflected everywhere. The man had his hair in a normal style and the fringe covered his eyes, his head was slightly bent and his lips moved a bit, seemingly like he was talking to someone. A woman emerged from behind him wearing a pink dress.

All the lights in the hall suddenly lit up. The woman walked in in a pink feathery dress, it seemed a bit transparent but she wore a pair of shorts inside. With each step she took, the feathers moved and blue jades could be seen. Coupled with the man's pink buttons, the reflection of the blue jades bounced off the light and spread around the room.

The people in the hall gasped

"Oh God, who are they?"

"They look like angels. The man is so handsome"

"I know that we are all socialites and we have al, received aristocrat training sice young but am I the only one that might faint from the sight of too many handsome men in the same room?"

Everyone murmured in agreement except a few people. While Kim Hana and Chae Bitna clenched their fists and gritted their teeth, a few Ceos walked up to Chae Yuna and Jisung and tried to suck up to them. Jisung walked up to Jeon Taeyong with Chae Yuna's help and said

"Congratulations"

"Hm"

Jeon Taeyong didn't take his eyes off Chae Yuna and in the next moment, he stood up and pulled her away.
