After walking through one shopping mall after another, Ning Qianyu finally stopped in front of a counter. She pointed at the beautifully packaged scarf on the counter and said, "Miss, I'd like to take a look at that scarf."

Ye Xi glanced at the gift bag in Ning Qianyu's hand and slightly raised his brows. "No, I've just reached."

Ning Qianyu then opened the back door and got into the car.

The car was drove out of Golden Gate Mall and headed to the Hao Yuan District.

When they returned to the apartment, Ye Xi entered the study room while Ning Qianyu went back to her room to change.

Mu Shengchen lifted his head and glanced at Ye Xi who came in through the door, then his gaze fell back on the documents in his hands, "Ye Xi, bring grandma 20 grams of the Da Hong Pao, rock tea from Wuyi Mountains that I've gotten from the auction previously."

"Young Master Chen…" Ye Xi wanted to say something, he but stopped himself.

Mu Shengchen lifted his head, squinted his eyes and slowly asked, "What's the matter?"

Ye Xi answered hesitantly, "Miss Ning didn't go to the hospital for physiotherapy in the afternoon, she went to a mall instead."

Mu Shengchen put down the pen in his hand and leaned his back against the chair. "Did she go to buy a gift?"

"Yes."

Mu Shengchen tapped his fingers on the edge of the table as if he had something on his mind. Ye Xi, on the other hand, was just standing silently, not daring to speak. After a long while, Mu Shengchen said, "Put the Da Hong Pao in the car first and give it to grandma after dinner. Don't let her see it."

"Understood," Ye Xi nodded, took out the gift box from the cabinet and walked out of the study room. Unexpectedly, he bumped into Ning Qianyu who was carrying her clothes out of the room the moment he entered the living room.

Ning Qianyu stared curiously at Ye Xi, "Are you leaving now?"

"I'm going down to put something in the car. Young Master Chen is still going through a document, so we might be slightly late," Ye Xi replied awkwardly.

"Oh, okay," Ning Qianyu glance and saw an exquisite-looking gift box in his hand when she was about to go back to her room. Although she could not tell what it was, she could smell a faint fragrance from it.

Noticing Ning Qianyu's gaze on the gift box, Ye Xi braced himself and explained, "This is a box of tea leaves, there's an unpleasant smell in my car, so, I'm going to put it in to remove the odor."

Only Ye Xi could think of saying the 20 grams of the Da Hong Pao, rock tea from Wuyi Mountains that Young Master Chen used a few million to bid as normal tea leaves to remove odor.

So it was tea, no wonder it had such a nice fragrance. Ning Qianyu did not find it suspicious, nodded and entered the room.

Ye Xi let out a sigh of relief and left the apartment as fast as he could with the gift box.
