C4 GENTLE BUT BADDIE

Ava’s heart trembled. She knew that Mark was very ruthless. He has no qualms about hitting the opposite gender.

Disgust and hatred filled her eyes. If she had known, she would never have dated this assh*le! Blame her for being blinded by his calm and handsome demeanor-at the beginning!

Tyla slowly stopped at the club and drove straight to the parking lot.

She still wore formal attire and looked very dignified. She sighed when she realized her outfit wasn't proper for the occasion but strutted ahead nevertheless.

Four guard bouncers stood at the security checkpoint. Minors are not allowed into the club. Tyla showed her an I. D card, and they bowed, nodded and let her in.

Who didn’t know the secretary of the mighty president? Tyla and David can be said to be Kelvin’s head and tail.

Tyla herself had been to this bar countless times on different occasions. Her formal heels clicked on the marble floor. The lights blitz showing their glamour. People danced and rocked on a huge platform ahead of her. Men stripped and women also stripped, rubbing their bodies on each other, seeking lustful pleasure and enticing the audience with the movements of their bodies.

Tyla had seen this countless times, but seemed unfazed. She called again to find out Ava’s location, but Ava didn’t pick up.

Worried, Tyla searched every corner and finally saw Ava. But the smile on Tyla’s face vanished when she saw a man forcefully grabbing Ava’s wrists and dragging her against her will.

“Ava??” Tyla called to verify.

Ava’s eyes had tears in them as she struggled to get rid of Mark's hold. “Let me go!”

Mark chuckled, his gaze wretched and perverted. “All the while we dated, you claimed to be a Virgin Mary.” While his gaze was fixed on Ava’s breasts and ass, cold and slender fingers gripped his hands hard.

It was so small, but the strength was formidable. “Let go.” Tyla’s usually gentle aura dissipated to be replaced with a calm but fierce temper.

“Tyla!” Ava’s eyes widened happily, as though she had seen her life-saving straw.

Mark grinned wretchedly, “The more, the better.” Although he didn’t come with his guards, he could handle those two pesky little girls.

“Then I’m sorry to disappoint you. I won’t participate in a 3p, not now, not ever.” Tyla snorted, gazing coldly.

Mark glanced harshly at Tyla and flung her petite fingers away from him. He rushed once again to grab Ava again.

Without wasting more time, Tyla grabbed the man’s shoulders, turned his body 30 full degrees, facing herself. Tyla slapped Mark’s face hard, causing a fingerprint mark on his cheek bones.

Mark’s face tilted to one side and his cheekbone hurt from being hit so badly. “You bitch!” He recovered over the next few seconds and tried to get revenge back. He punched at Tyla, but the latter dodged.

Tyla strengthened her feet and kicked him where the sun didn't shine. “A pig like you isn’t supposed to live in this society. You are lucky I’m not in a bad mood. Hurting the people I care about, you must be courting death.” Her words were calm, but the threat was penetrating into his bones.

Ava also shivered, she rarely saw her calm, controlled and gentle Tyla angry.

“Bitch! Don’t let me ever catch you!” Mark yelled with frustration in his voice.

His friends from earlier stood in a corner and laughed at his misfortune, causing Mark to blush in anger. He vowed to avenge his loss today. A ruthless and evil glint flashed past his eyes.

Tyla grabbed Ava’s wrist and they both strutted out of the bar domineeringly.

Tyla’s grandpa is a director police officer and her uncle is also a detective. From young, she has been trained to be strong. No one dared to bully people in her presence.

“Thank you.” Ava mouthed, completely dazed.

Tyla didn’t respond and shoved the other into the car.

“Hey, you are so handsome right now.” Ava’s depressed demeanor changed. She chuckled and smiled.

Tyla rolled her eyes, still not reconciled with the fact that if she had been a step late, that man could have done bad things to Ava.

“Is he the ex you were saying you broke up with?” Tyla asked.

“Yeah. I must have been blinded by a ghost. That man is a great pervert. I knew what I went through in order to break up with him!” Ava shuddered.

“So you know how to be afraid?!” Tyla shouted, still angry.

“Sweetheart, don’t be angry, I didn’t think he would come to this bar today. I tried ignoring him. But he acted wretchedly. His friends couldn’t stop him from his outrageous behavior! They all watched the show from behind the scenes!” Ava yelled and was pissed as she recollected the scene.

“Why won’t they watch the scene? They have a perverted mind as well. Birds of the same feather flock together,” Tyla dryly commented as she slowly regained her calm composure.

“Sighs. By the way, I just came back today, are you surprised to see me?” Ava shrugged and asked excitedly.

“Hmm. Surprised indeed.” Tyla rolled her eyes.

“Hey, don’t give me that boring attitude. How is the relationship between you and your boss? I saw you both on TV today. Is your company working on a new project?” Ava asked while perking her ears for gossip.

“What relationship should we have? Isn’t being a boss and subordinate good enough?” Tyla asked, casting Ava a confused gaze.

“Shouldn't a normal secretary be drooling after their boss's pants? The fact he is so cold, hot and sexy is dreamy enough.” Ava looked as a true fan girl.

“He might strangle me before I even try to covet him in the way you are thinking. Besides, he thinks with his brain, not with his lower body. I don’t even have the leisure to fantasize about him that way.”

“Tut tut tut. If your mother hears these words, I’m sure she would complain about your celibacy again.”

“I’m still too young to be called a celibate. I started working early, remember?” These people seem to forget such simple details.

“By the way, do you have food at home? I won’t go back to my condo tonight. I want to sleep with my bestie tonight.” Ava acted flirtatiously and Tyla shuddered.

“If I didn’t know you, I would think you really wanted to do it with me.” Tyla spoke, her gaze focused on the road.

“Eww. Your mind is so dirty.” Ava faked a cringe.

“Hypocrite.” Tyla snorted. “Let’s go to the nearby city mall to get groceries.” Tyla stated with a grin, revealing a pear vortex on both cheeks.

“Awwn, my darling is the best.” Ava took out her phone and took a pix of Tyla’s dimples.

Turning the steering wheel, Tyla wanted to head towards the grocery parking lot, before, unknowingly, a little figure jumped out of nowhere and stood in front of their moving car.

Tyla screamed in fright and the car came to a screeching halt, breaking before ramming into the little child.

“Oh my God! What the hell?!” Ava screamed.
