C5 Because You are Mine

Ana's pov:

" Thanks,” I replied as he led me to the car whilst holding the small of my back and opened the door for me like a perfect gentleman whilst my parents and Nika were peeping through the window.

" Where are we going?” I asked feeling neurotic

You will have to be patient, My Luna, it's a surprise.”

We drove for about thirty minutes before we arrived at our destination. It was a beautiful private beach house...

"Wow Red, this is very beautiful," I complimented because it was indeed very beautiful.

" Thanks, I am glad you like it.”

" Is this place yours?” I couldn't help but ask.

" Yeah, it is Mine, Luna. I procured it not too long ago," he confirmed as one of his staff showed up.

" Welcome Sir, the table is set,” she said whilst leading us to the right wing of the beach house where there was a beautifully decorated table for two already set.

" Thanks, this is so beautiful,” I appreciated her whilst Red pulled out the chair for me.

Red was doing all the right things and they even served all my favourite things to eat like lasagna, cheesecake and pineapple juice.

" How in God's name did you know all my favourites"

" I have my ways," was his response with a smirk.

" You are an eccentric guy you know," I said out loud even though I never intended to.

" Perhaps I have a reason to be quaint,” he chuckled, which made me conclude that I might be right.

The dinner was fun with small talks here and there.

" Thanks so much for the night, dinner was fantastic.” I appreciated him while preparing to leave.

" I am glad you loved me, but the night is not over yet,” he stated with his signature smirk.

"I think you have done more than necessary, at this point, you can colour me impressed," I stated truly.

" Well, thanks, however, I still have more plans,”

" Wow you are so extra,” he is extra but I like it.

We took a stroll around the beach after he bent down in front of me and removed my heels so I could have a feel of the beach sand whilst we strolled.

Do you know how to dance?” He enquired after a while.

" Yeah I think so,” I replied.

" Good because we are going to have a silent disco party here," he informed me whilst bringing out his headphones, which I didn't even notice he was holding.

" Wow, this is so cool.” Just like that, we were dancing like teenagers on the beach. I had so much fun.

" Red, I had an amazing night. I had so much fun.

" I am glad you had a good time, we will do more of this," he said as he led me to the car.

" I am looking forward to that," I said truthfully

" How about we continue tomorrow? " he asked when we got comfortable in the car.

" I will like that," I responded with a smile.

The rest of the drive back to my place was quiet. I wasn't stunned when I got home and met my parents and Monica waiting in the living room.

"How was your date, Ana?" Dad asked immediately after I stepped in.

" It was okay,” I responded.

" That's okay. Are you guys hanging out again anytime soon?" Mum asked, making Nika look at her in astonishment.

" Oh God Mum, isn't it enough that I went out with him today?" I asked, already getting riled up by their desperation.

" It is but why stop now? I heard Mum say whilst I tugged Nika upstairs to my room.

" What was all that about?" she enquired the moment we stepped into my room.

" That's what I have been going through with them. They have been incessantly breathing down my neck and acting hysterical and unco ever since Red came into focus,” I replied while taking off my dress.

" That's quaint, anyways give me all the deets, spill it...how did it go?" she asked excitedly.

" Oh my God Nika, Nika it was beyond great, I had the best time of my life ...Red is so thoughtful and very romantic, who knew right? He took me to his beach house, we had dinner with all my favourite things and then we had a silent disco on the beach," I said whilst reckoning my experience.

" But how did he know your favourite things and what is a silent disco?" she asked curiously.

“Well, I don't know but there was lasagna, cheesecake and pineapple juice amongst other things you know I like and silent disco is when you play a piece of music with headphones, the same song, just the two of us simultaneously," I explained.

" Wow that's great, I am elated you had fun, it is long overdue,” she stated.

" Yeah, you're right... We are hanging out again tomorrow,” I mentioned.

" Wow, that's peachy, what time tomorrow cause we have to figure out what you will wear," Nika is all up for every chance to dress me up.

" Relax girl, there is Ample time," I said before plopping on my bed.

" Fine if you say so," she said while joining me in bed.

While I was lying in bed, I was reminiscing about the stellar night I just had. I haven't had so much fun since Leo... It's been forever. I was about to drift to sleep when I got a text from Red.

" I had a great time with you My Luna, looking forward to seeing you tomorrow, have a good night, I will pick you up same time." That text brought a smile to my face as I slept off.

When I woke up, I felt rejuvenated and refreshed. It was a really beautiful morning.

" We should figure out what you are wearing for your date today," Nika said startling me as she stepped out of the bathroom, I forgot she slept over.

" It's Saturday, don't you have something to do " I asked, not wanting to go through another excruciating makeover today.

" Nope, I am not leaving until you are very well prepared for your date. I don't trust you with wearing the right things," she said in Akimbo.

The rest of the day went by like a blur and before I knew it, I was standing in front of my vanity looking flawlessly sheen in a pair of dark blue skinny denim and a crop top and my hair and make-up done to perfection.

After about forty-five minutes, I was back at the beach house with Red. The interior of the beach house was out of this world and even better than I envisaged, having a black, white and Gold theme interior.

The wall is white while the pieces of furniture are black brightening the room with gold curtains and ornaments.

" This place is very beautiful, I love the decor," I said with a smile as he led me to the couch.

"Thanks, I know you love movies so we are having a movie night. What would you like to watch?” He asked.

" I don't know how you know these things but you are right, I love movies, can we watch werewolf movies?” I enquired, hoping he saw it. Not everyone likes werewolf movies.

" What werewolf movies? You like that?” He asked, sounding astonished.

" Yeah, I know it sounds ditzy but I do," I stated coyly.

" No it doesn't, werewolf it is," he said whilst checking Netflix for the best.

Just as he started the movie, his chef brought out a big tray of varieties of snacks and drinks.

" How in God's name did you know I like a sour patch and peanut brittle Red,” I enquired feeling stunned, that is pretty unclear.

" I told you, Ana, I have my ways,” he stated politely.

" Yes, but seriously what ways?" I asked curiously.

" It is for me to know and surprise the shit out of you and for you to relish every moment so relax and enjoy your werewolf movie," he said before settling beside me on the couch.

"I can't believe you love werewolves,” he said, sounding stunned.

" Oh I love werewolf stories, I am fascinated with the whole finding mate, Mind link and even marking, I find it pretty cool.”

"Wow that is sublime My Luna," he said with admiration, I saw the silver line dancing in his eyes as he smiled.

"I had so much fun again, I enjoyed every moment we spent together," I appreciated, which made him smile.

We got to my place and he opened the door for me. I was about to leave when I remembered the question I had been wanting to ask;

"Red, why did you say I am not allowed to have a boyfriend?” I enquired nervously.

"Because you are mine.”
