C8 It is time

“Congratulations, your daughter has just given birth to Octuplets.

Four boys and four girls” the doctor said and Arianna opened her eyes wide in shock.

“Octuplets!!” Arianna said, almost yelling. Hannah’s stomach was so big, she had always thought there were more than one baby inside, probably triplets or quadruplets, but the fact that it was octuplets was so shocking.

“Can I see her now?” Arianna asked

“Yeah, sure after the nurse finishes cleaning the babies and the mother then you can see them,” the doctor said and Arianna nodded in response.

After The nurse had finished cleaning the babies, Hannah. Arianna went inside the ward to see Hannah and the babies.

She met Hannah lying on the bed staring at the babies which were laid on a big baby cradle beside her.

“Oh my goodness!! Hannah, congratulations “ Arianna said and Hannah smiled at her weakly.

Hannah had felt so much pain while giving birth to the babies, but immediately she saw the babies, all the pain she felt disappeared at once.

She couldn’t believe she had given birth to octuplets, it was like a miracle.

Fear ran through her spine as she stared at the babies. Memories of how the babies she has given birth to in the past had died came running into her head like flash.

She became scared. What if she loses all these babies too? she thought.

Arianna who saw the look on her face moved towards her and sat beside her. She knew about everything Hannah had been in the past, how she had lost her babies immediately after they were born.

“Hey, nothing is going to happen to the babies. I’m here, I’ll protect you and the Babies” Arianna said and Hannah stared at the babies who were asleep for some seconds and then nodded in response.

“So what are you naming the octuplets? It’s equally like two sets of quadruplets “ Arianna said and Hannah smiled.

“I’ll name the girls, Allison, Addison, Audrey, and Aubrey also known as the A4. the males I’ll name them, Jaxon, japer, Jayden, and Jamie, also known as the J4,” Hannah said as she pointed at the kids one by one naming them.

Arianna smiled, it would be so difficult for her to differentiate between who is who among the kids because they look so much alike. It won’t be difficult for Hannah, Of course, she is their mother.

After Hannah was discharged, Arianna hired eight nannies, so they could support Hannah in taking care of the babies. She felt so happy. She was now a grandma to a beautiful set of octuplets.

******Five years later******

“Allison, get off the dining table, you gonna fall” Hannah yelled as Allison climbed onto the dining table, trying to take an apple from a bowl at the center of the dining table.

Hannah sighed softly, Allison wasn’t even listening to her, all she focused on was getting the apple on the table. She made to walk towards Allison when she caught a glimpse of Jayden and Jasper fighting over the remote and Jamie was hitting the television screen.

She turned and then saw Aubrey and Audrey walking out of the kitchen covered in flour.

“Oh, Jesus!! Where are the fucking maids!!!!!!!!” Hannah yelled in confusion. She didn’t know which one of the kids she should go to first. It was the weekend and the kids didn't go to school.

Just then the maids and the nannies came running out from where they were. They’ve been so busy doing other things, they thought the kids were asleep not knowing they were doing something else in the sitting room.

“I’m sorry ma’am,” the nannies and maids said at once as they carried the kids upstairs. Hannah then noticed she didn't see Addison and Jaxon.

“Where are Addison and Jaxon?” she asked

“They are asleep ma’am, “ one of the nannies said and Hannah nodded in response.

She sat down tiredly on the couch in the sitting room. Her head was aching so badly. The kids were stressing the hell out of her. Bringing a kid into this world was something else, taking care of the kids was entirely something different.

She was glad Arianna had hired nannies and the maids were also Available to help her take care of the kids.

The past few years haven’t been an easy one for Hannah but with Arianna by her side to support her she was able to work as a CEO and at the same time act as a mother to beautiful Octuplets.

Just then, the door burst open revealing Arianna, she was looking so tired and weak. She had traveled out of New York to Canada for business purposes.

She had told Hannah she would be coming back home today but Hannah had even forgotten. Her kids had made her forgotten completely.

“Mom, you are back,” Hannah said and stood up from the couch, and went to hug Arianna.

Just then a maid came and took Arianna’s bag and jacket and gave her a glass of water.

“Thank you,” Arianna said as she gave the glass cup back to the maid who bowed her head.

“Honey, how are you?” Arianna asked as she turned to Hannah who smiled at her.

“I'm okay. How was the business trip?” Hannah asked as they both walked towards the couch and sat on it.

Arianna gave out a sad smile. Hannah knew the company was having a problem and they needed help to sort out things, or else the company was going to go bankrupt and they would have no option but to sell it.

So, Arianna traveled to Canada to ask for help from a business partner. From the look on Arianna’s face, it stated that things didn't go well.

“What happened, mom?” Hannah asked with a concerned look.

“He refused to help. We've got no option than to sell the company, “ Arianna said and Hannah frowned.

“No, we can't just sell the company you've worked so hard to build. There must be a second option” Hannah said and Arianna sighed softly.

“There is a second option but I'm not sure he's going to help, “ Arianna said sadly

“Who is he?” Hannah asked

“His name is Brandon Colby, and he owns BRC. He's the only one who can help us but he's in Atlanta. I do not have plans of going to Atlanta for now and besides, he wouldn't want to help” Arianna said

“What if I go to Atlanta and convince him,” Hannah said and Arianna stared at her surprised.

“You can’t go to Atlanta now. What about the kids? And your ex-husband and his family? They wouldn’t let you be once they know you are back in Atlanta and they might try to hurt you” Arianna said and Hannah smiled.

“I’ll be bringing the kids with me and besides I can take care of myself, mom. I’m no longer that Hannah they stepped on and ruined her life years ago.

I’m now a different person. Make sure everything about my flight is available by tomorrow noon I’ll leave for Atlanta “ Hannah said with a devilish smile on her face.

“Besides, it’s time the Mikelson pay for what they did to me”
