"What?" Asher uttered almost in shock. "Aunt Davina? Did something happen? Concern was evident in his voice.

"I don't know man. It sounded urgent," Cory added.

Asher's gaze fell back on me, hesitating for a second. "I'll be back," He muttered softly, holding my gaze for a deep second before leaving with Cory.
