I was waiting for Lyra and Dorian outside the mansion the next morning. We had just had breakfast, and I was all dressed up for school. Asher, Stefan, and Wren were not coming with us, they had something else to do, after seeing Kayla and Carl off today. They were returning to New Orleans.

Since morning I had been trying desperately to hide my smile, but for some reason
