C2 The Distress of Wu Linlin

Without realizing it, dawn had arrived. Wu Tian was lying on the table, drowsily waking up. He had watched over half of the Count of Monte Cristo. Last night, he had been engrossed in reading before falling asleep.

He rubbed his sleepless eyes and looked at the time. Wu Tian then went downstairs to wash up before going to the entrance of the neighborhood to buy two cups of soy milk and two plates of Soup Dumplings.

Wu Tian ran upstairs with breakfast in his hand and knocked on the door of his sister's room. Wu Linlin said sleepily, "Alright, I'll get up now." About ten minutes later, after Wu Linlin had washed her face and rinsed her mouth, she sat down at the table. The two siblings had finished their breakfast happily.

Wu Tian looked at the time and said, "Let's go, I'll send you to school." Wu Linlin smiled and said, "Sure."

The two siblings went out together. Wu Tian went downstairs to push out a shabby bike path. "Let's go." Wu Linlin sat on the back seat of the bicycle, her arms around her older brother's waist.

Wu Tian worked hard on his bicycle along the way and his back was soon drenched in sweat. However, he didn't feel tired at all. He was very happy to be able to send his sister to school.

Half an hour later, Wu Tian and Wu Linlin arrived at the school gates. Wu Tian parked his car and got out. When he saw his brother sweating profusely, Wu Linlin took out a handkerchief from her pocket to wipe Wu Tian's sweat.

Wu Tian said with a pleased smile, "Quickly go to the class and study hard." As he spoke, he stroked Wu Linlin's head.

Wu Linlin stuck out her tongue and carried her backpack as she headed towards the campus. Wu Tian watched his sister's figure enter the school building before riding her bicycle back to his own school.

When Wu Linlin arrived at the class, there were not many students in the class yet. She sat down and began to read English seriously. Wu Linlin had always liked English very much, and her English grade was also the most outstanding.

After about ten minutes, a sulking boy sat down beside Wu Linlin, looking at her with an evil smile on his face.

Of course, Wu Linlin had also sensed the boy's arrival. However, due to her personality, she didn't want to talk too much with the other boys, so she didn't say anything to reprimand the boy.

Moreover, this boy was called Zhang Feiyu, who was very influential in the whole Hubei Province. He was a bold and reckless student in the class, and even the teachers couldn't do anything to him.

Zhang Feiyu was obviously interested in Wu Linlin, but this had to be blamed on Zhang Feiyu's family. Ever since his father was young, he had often instilled knowledge about men and women into Zhang Feiyu, giving him a clear understanding of these matters at the age of ten! For a normal person to know these things was nothing, but for a boy with a devil in his heart to understand these things too early, it was undoubtedly terrifying.

Zhang Feiyu looked at Wu Linlin, who was studying hard, and said with an evil smile, "Linlin, have you eaten yet? "Why don't I take you to eat?" Wu Linlin replied nonchalantly, "Yes, I have. Thank you for your good intentions. I need to learn English. Please do not disturb me."

Zhang Feiyu quickly said, "How about this? I'll treat you to a movie after school. How about that?" Zhang Feiyu revealed a very sincere expression, as if he was a successful person confessing to a lady.

Wu Linlin ignored Zhang Feiyu and continued to recite her English. At this time, the students in the class all came one by one. Zhang Feiyu's eyes revealed a hint of resentment as he glanced at her, then returned to his seat.

A day passed leisurely just like that. Unexpectedly, Zhang Feiyu did not find Wu Linlin for a day, and Wu Linlin did not take it to heart either. She was an honest child and did not understand these things, nor did she understand what a person with a devil's heart was thinking when they were silent.

In the afternoon, Wu Linlin packed her things and left the classroom. As usual, she went to the entrance to wait for her brother Wu Tian. Wu Tian had come out of school a little later than Wu Linlin.

Wu Linlin walked to the school entrance, but she didn't realize that among the bustling crowd of students, there was a pair of scorpion-like eyes staring right at her.

When they arrived at the school gate, Wu Linlin was sitting at a table near the entrance to the school. She took out her homework and began to study it slowly. She was not a person who wasted time; just like her older brother, Wu Tian, she was a self-disciplined person.

At this moment, a sinister voice suddenly sounded out, "Linlin, let's go. We're going to see a movie."

Wu Linlin suddenly frowned and asked, "Why are you here?" The person who came was naturally Zhang Feiyu. He smiled and said, "Linlin, no matter what, I sincerely invited you. Are you not going to give me any face?" "Many people are begging me to invite her to a movie, but I don't care about that at all."
