I ticked off yesterday’s date from my calendar.

I had exactly 8 months, 1 week, 6 days,18 hours and 43 minutes left to stay in this hellhole of a house.

I’d been here for 1 month and 16 days and each day I would tick off the previous day from my calendar. It was like a little countdown ritual that I had.

I had already had my bath as early as 5 am , I couldn’t sleep a wink last night
