C1 Reborn

The night was dark and in an empty road a girl was running frantically. Behind, some men were chasing after her. The girl knows that if she fell into the hands of these scums, then she would end up having a life worse than death. But after running for a few miles, she came infront of a cliff. She was forced to stop there. Infront of her was a huge mouth of darkness ready to swallow her and behind her was a group of goons who is going to capture her. At that moment of desperation she took a bold decision. She closed her eyes and gave herself into the deep night and fell straight down the cliff.

"Erica.... Erica... Why are you not waking up darling... Wake up. "

In a hospital ward, a young girl around 23 years was calling out anxiously to a girl on a sick bed. The girl was lying there with a pale face and a fragile body.

At that time , the door was pushed open and a young man wearing a white coat and a Sthethoscope came in.

The girl hurriedly came up to the doctor and asked "James what happened to Erica?".

James said to Alice not to worry so much as the result of the body check up is not out yet.

James, erica and Alice were childhood sweet hearts. They would always be in support of each other if something happen to any one of them.

"Alice, have you informed David about this?",asked James.

By hearing the name of David, Alice became furious. "Why should I inform him? What kind of husband is he who doesn't even care about where his wife is".

In this matter James also doesnt have a good impression of him. But then too he persuaded her to call David as he is one of Erica's family member.

Alice reluctantly dialled his number.

After a few seconds a low sexy voice was heard through the other end of the phone.

"Hello"

On hearing his voice, Alice was so furious that she couldn't vent her anger on anyone. She roared, " Erica is in the city hospital. If you want to come, then come. Anyway no is eager to see you " and then she immediately hung up the call.

James was speechless towards her childish actions.

After that, when both of them turned around they met with the gaze of the person who was lying on the bed.

Alice was so excited that she immediately pounced on her and started shouting,"You silly girl, what happened to you? Why did you faint all of a sudden? Are you okay now , do you feel any pain anywhere on your body. Tell me..."

But the girl on the bed just had a silly look on her face. Upon seeing this, James stopped Alice from her blabbering and told her to give the patient some time as it may take a while for the patient to react after waking from the coma. Alice was coaxed by James and both of them waited for Erica to speak first.

Erica still had a silly look on her face as she stared at those strange people.

Suddenly, she opened her mouth and asked

"Who are you"?

James and Alice froze on the spot.

Erica looked at them strangely not knowing who they were. Then she looked around and saw the medical apparatus and came to a realisation that she has been hospitalized. She recalled what happened to her and her face became pale.

She remembered that she was being chased by some scums and had fallen down the cliff. "Am I still alive? ", she mumbled to herself.

By hearing this Alice looked at her weirdly and asked, "Then do you think you are in heaven right now? "

James came near to Erica and asked her " Eri, do you remember me? "

Erica looked at him deeply and replied " No, I don't have any impression of you. Who are you? Are you the doctor who checked me? Can you tell me how I escaped after falling from the cliff? Why isn't my body feeling any pain after falling from such a great height"

Erica was so anxious that she raised all her doubts in one go.

By this time James and Alice came to a sudden understanding as they looked at each other.
