C10 He regretted it

Erica found it a bit funny. Her husband was asking her to clean the floor infront of the maids. He even believed all the nonsense said by them.

She folded her hands and asked back "What if I don't"?

David couldn't hold it any longer and instantly grabbed her lower jaw, " What do you think of yourself? For me you are even more lowly than this servants.

Just by acting proud and arrogant you are not going to get my attention. "

Erica was in so much pain that she grabbed his hand which was pinching her lower jaw and whined, " Leave me. It's paining".

After a few seconds , he shoved her away. Was it because his strength was too great or was it due to her weak composition, Erica was not able to stand steadily and was instantly thrown to the ground. It might be due to her bad luck, she precisely fell onto the glass debris.

"Ahhhh........ "

A loud scream reverberated through the whole villa. David froze on the spot. He was actually unable to discern the situation. What happened just now? He only just pushed her away. The maids were also scared by the sudden turn of events. They only thought of instigating master against young madam so that she won't ride on their heads. But the master was too cruel to her.

One of them suddenly squatted down and checked the situation. The glass fragments struck to her arms and legs and lot of blood was flowing out. Erica had already passed out due to the intense pain.

Maid instantly called out, "Master, madam has lost a lot of blood. Quick we need to send her to hospital".

David came out of his daze from her call and instantly squatted down and held her in his arms.She was like a rag doll jn the mercy of others. For the first time David felt sorry for her. He shouldn't have been impulse just now.

He called her by patting her cheeks, "Hey wake up. Can you hear me?"

But there was no response.

He picked her up and walked out of the villa as he called out to the driver, "Quick, start the car and drive to the hospital".

Driver who just sent them to the villa saw the young madam covered up in wounds and was stunned. Madam who was fine a moment ago was injured. What happened? He was totally perplexed. David had already sat on the back seat. Without further ado, the driver started the car and drove to the hospital.

The car reached the same hospital again. David picked her up and went straight towards the consultation room of one of the doctors.

"Quick, my wife is injured. Immediately check on her other wise get ready to scram out of the hospital". He threatened the doctor.

The doctor was scared out of his wits and quickly called the nurse to bring out a stretcher. David then laid her onto it and the doctor took her to check on her wounds.

David stood outside and waited.

He was standing there by emitting cold air. After half an hour, the doctor came out. David went forward and asked, "How is she?"

Doctor didn't wait any longer and said " She is alright. It was just that due to the intense pain she might have fainted. We have cleaned her wounds. You can go inside". Doctor then fled from the scene as if he was saving his own life.

David heaved a sigh of relief. He went to the ward and stood beside the bed.

She was lying with a pale face and a weak body. Yes, her body was really weak. He thought back of the scene when he shoved her away. This soft and weak body was not able to withstand his strength and was thrown to the ground.

He suddenly regretted his actions.

Even though she was rude to him, he should have atleast considered her as his wife. He not only considered that, but even humiliated her in front of all the maids. He sighed in his heart.

As if he thought of something, he immediately went near the window of the ward and picked his phone.

He called the main butler of the villa.

Butler picked up the phone, "Young master, what order do you have? "

David said, "Do you know what happened during the commotion of young madam and the maids?"

Butler : "I am sorry young master. I was out to buy some groceries at that time. Now I heard about the injury of the young madam from one of the servants. I will investigate on it and report to you immediately".

David : "Okay, Be quick". After that he hung up the call.
