C4 What is on the phone's home screen?

Mr John was like a deflated baloon after hearing the confirmation from Erica.

He shrunk his shoulders and sat on the chair near to the bed.

David also looked towards Erica and fell into a deep thought. He also could not stand the alienation from Erica all of a sudden.

Even though he dislikes her, he was used to the gentle and loving side of Erica.

Now she looks at him like a stranger.

Even her eyes doesn't seem to have any warmth towards him.

He suddenly felt as if he lost something precious from his life.

David was astonished from his own imagination. No, he couldn't have any thoughts towards her. Whether she acts or not has nothing to do with him.

As if he has made up his mind, David went near to his father and said, "Dad, let's go. Eri needs some rest. Don't think too much into it and increase your blood pressure. I will help her to regain her memory. You have to be at ease."

John also felt what David said is reasonable.

He stood up from his chair and rubbed the top of erica's head lovingly and said "Take care, my child. I will come and see you again. If this child bullies you , you must tell me. I will seek justice for you. "

Erica felt warm inside and said to John " Thank you uncle. Even though I don't remember you now, I am sure you were a good dad. "

John was little sad on hearing her address him as uncle.

But then he thought to give the child some time as we shouldn't rush up things.

Things should be taken slowly.

After bidding good bye to her, he left.

David also accompanied him till the car which was parked at the entrance of the hospital.

Before getting into the car, John tuned back and said to David, "You brat, don't think that I don't know anything. You seem to dislike my daughter in law. You have bullied her enough in the past three years. Now since she has lost her memory, try to start a life with her anew. She has loved you for more than 10 years. Moreover, You owe her. "

After saying that John got into the car and the car left with a wisp of smoke.

David stood there with a puzzled look.

Alice arrived with the soup the moment David left the ward.

Alice then passed the phone to Erica.

After getting the phone, Erica met with the problem of password. She asked

" Hey, do you know my password? ".

Alice said "110390".

As soon as she said, erica tried the password and the phone instantly got unlocked.

Erica was happy as the phone got unlocked but soon her smile froze.

On the home screen of her phone, there stood a handsome young man with a faint smile against his Rolls Royce. Better than telling a smile, it will be more appropriate to say that it was a slight disdain at the corner of his lips. It was as if the world owe him. It was none other than her narcissist husband David.

Alice ridiculed from the side "What happened? Are you shocked to see your that demon's picture in the screen?"

Erica was not in the mood to hear the ridicule.

She thought " How deep the owner of this body might have loved her husband, even to the point of keeping his picture as wallpaper."

Alice added from the side " Not only the picture of your husband is in the wallpaper."

Erica looked at Alice in a puzzled manner and asked " Then?"

Alice said, " Do you remember the password I told you now?"

Erica replied "Yeah, what's the problem with that? "

Alice said with contempt , "It's your lovely hubby's birthday. "

Erica was once again dumbfounded. She felt sympathy towards the owner.

How could someone love a person so selflessly even with the knowledge that the other party doesn't have any feelings towards her. Seeing her absent minded look Alice thought that she was thinking about David's attitude towards her.

She then sighed and comforted Erica, "Darling, don't think too much into it. That man doesn't deserves you."

Erica came out from her thoughts and replied mockingly ," No I wasn't thinking about him. I was just thinking about your friend's naivety back then. She was sure a fool to fell in love with such a man. "

Alice was stunned by her tone and asked in a probing manner, "Why do you speak like you are a different person? Why are you addressing yourself strangely? My friend and you are same right?"

As if she thought of something ,alice screamed and asked, "Or despite loosing your memory, did you also became schizophrenic? "

Erica panicked instantly as she almost revealed herself now.

She dryly laughed and said, " What are you talking about? It's of course me who was blabbering nonsense just now. Don't wander your thoughts here and there. "

Alice was worried about erica on her strange behavior.

She then thought of keeping the matter aside. She will chat with James later on regarding this.

She then said, " Okay darling I was wrong. Forgive me for the sake of our friendship", and then she bowed infront of Erica in 90 degree exaggeratedly.

Erica was amused from her actions and laughed heartily.

Alice was stunned from her hearty laugh. How long it had been since Erica laughed so heartily. Now that she thought about it, she felt it was actually a good thing to loose the memory because other than grief and loneliness, old memories could give Erica nothing.

She felt relieved and happy for her.

Alice then diverted the topic and winked playfully at her and said,

"Now that you had lost your memory, I will help you to hook up with a guy who is more handsome than your crappy husband."
