C13 I Won't Let Go Again

After walking around, she went back upstairs. Lin Yue's body was covered in a layer of sweat. Just as she entered the room, she asked, "Gu Heng, do you want to take a bath?"

Gu Heng took the hot water into the washroom and mixed it with water before saying to Lin Yue, "Go wash first."

Lin Yue wasn't a hypocrite. Her body was sticky and uncomfortable. She entered the bedroom and found a decent nightgown amongst a pile of flowery clothes and went to the bathroom.

After closing the door, she saw the bucket in the middle of the room. Lin Yue reached out her hand to test the temperature of the water. It was neither hot nor cold. The temperature was just right. The corner of her mouth curled up.

He slowly took off his clothes, entered the space, and took a bath in the spirit spring.

Lin Yue raised her head and looked at the chicken that was running around in the space. She was surprised, it was just put in this morning, but it only took him an afternoon to grow up. It was quite miraculous, perhaps he would lay an egg tomorrow.

Dragging her body out of the Spirit Spring Water, Lin Yue looked at the vegetables and realized that they were all ripe.

She had wanted to continue her research, but she was afraid that Gu Heng would discover her. She suppressed her shock and left the room with a bucket of spiritual spring water.

After putting on her pajamas, Lin Yue opened the bathroom door.

There was no sign of Gu Heng in the living room. Lin Yue thought that maybe he was inside the ball room. Lin Yue entered the room next door and happened to see Gu Heng helping cover the ball with a blanket.

The room that Gu Heng lived in was very neat and tidy. There weren't many things, just a bed, a desk, and a bookshelf. There were many books placed on top of the bookshelves, all neatly arranged.

"You're done showering?" Gu Heng stood up and saw Lin Yue's wet hair. He frowned and strode forward, dragging Lin Yue out of the bedroom and into the bathroom to grab a dry towel.

"What's wrong?"

Gu Heng's face was expressionless as he gently wiped Lin Yue's wet hair. He waited until it was half dry before letting go.

"Even though it's summer, I will still catch a cold."

"Mm, you should go take a bath now." Lin Yue entered the bedroom, embarrassed.

The corner of Gu Heng's mouth curled up as he watched the little woman run away. He turned around and entered the washroom. When he had taken the towel, he saw that there was already water inside. A sweet taste filled his heart.

The water was warm, and when he touched it, spiritual energy would seep into his body.

Gu Heng's eyes narrowed. It looked like his little girl had a secret.

After a quick shower, he comfortably cleaned up the washroom and pushed open the door to Lin Yue's bedroom. He stood by the door and looked at the little girl lying on the bed reading a book.

She had just taken a bath and was wearing a skirt that revealed her straight white legs. Gu Heng's throat dried up when he saw this.

He had never forgotten the ecstasy he had felt four years ago. Although he had been a monk for four years, now that he saw Lin Yue in front of him so casually, he could not hold back the anger in his heart.

"What are you standing at the door for? Come here." Lin Yue looked at Gu Heng, who was standing at the doorway, and laughed inwardly.

Gu Heng didn't move. He was afraid that this sudden passing was just a dream.

Seeing that Gu Heng didn't move, Lin Yue put down the book in her hands and walked barefoot to the door. She personally pulled Gu Heng to the side of the bed and put his feet up, kissing his lips without hesitation.

After the kiss, Lin Yue regretted it.

This wasn't the 21st century where one couldn't think as openly as he could. Wouldn't this scare Gu Heng?

She carefully looked at the man before her!

"Yueyue." Gu Heng said hoarsely.

"Un, I..."

Before he could finish, the man carried him onto the bed. Gu Heng laid beside Lin Yue and said softly, "Go to sleep."

Just like that?

Shouldn't something be done?

Lin Yue suspiciously looked at the man beside her with her eyes closed. After a while, she was sure that the man was asleep and gave up. Perhaps he was really tired, but Lin Yue soon fell asleep.

The sleeping Lin Yue didn't realize that the man beside her had opened his eyes.

Gu Heng looked at the sleeping little girl beside him and tightened the hand on her waist. He said seriously, "Yueyue, you didn't leave this time. I won't let you go again."
