C13 Life Was Worse than Death!

Mo Lengxi leaned down, capturing her lips with a commanding kiss, lightly biting and savoring their sweetness.

Yueyue's eyes were filled with resistance as she pushed against him, struggling to break free. Her defiance only fueled his displeasure, a cold glint flashing in his eyes as he bit down on her lip in warning.

"Ugh..." Yueyue let out a muffled groan, cursing through gritted teeth, "You beast."

"Beast?" Lengxi sneered, tearing her clothes away with a swift motion. His hands, burning with heat, roamed over her smooth skin, leaving no room for protest.

His touch seemed to have a magical effect, making Yueyue's body feel feverish. His breath was so close, it felt like it was melting her, as he laughed arrogantly, "I'll show you what a real beast is today!"

As soon as he finished speaking, he invaded her space...

"Ugh..." Yueyue bit down hard on her lower lip, her body tensing.

Lengxi drew in a sharp breath, his usually cool silver eyes now clouded with desire. He cursed under his breath, "Damn it!"

This woman seemed born to tempt him, and he intensified his actions...

...

Pain...

Her whole body felt like it had been taken apart.

When Yueyue woke up again, she felt utterly exhausted, even the slightest movement of her fingers brought a wave of soreness.

"Heh, awake?"

Hearing that familiar yet sinister voice, Yueyue shivered involuntarily, instinctively opening her eyes. The first thing she saw were several maids carrying food trays. Through them, she anxiously looked at the man sitting on the sofa like a king. "What... what do you want?!"

"Didn't you go to the kitchen to get me some porridge? Well, I didn't get to taste it, so why don't you try it for me?" Mo Lengxi smirked, casually crossing his long legs and nodding toward the three large food containers. "There are thirty bowls of porridge in here. Drink them, and I'll overlook your little escape attempt."

What...?

Lin Yueyue glanced at the containers the maids were holding, her anger bubbling up inside her. What did she owe this man to deserve such torment?

Clenching her fists, she said coldly, "If I finish all thirty bowls, you have to let me go!"

Mo Lengxi's eyes flashed with a mix of coldness and irritation. Did she really want to leave that badly? He was curious to see if she could actually eat all that porridge. "Fine!"

"You said it."

Her face was pale, and she seemed unsteady even while sitting, but her eyes were filled with a stubborn determination that was impossible to ignore.

"I always keep my word," Mo Lengxi replied with a smirk, signaling to the maids.

Two of them helped her up, while another held a bowl, ready to feed her.

"No need," Lin Yueyue waved the maid's hand away. "I'll do it myself."

She struggled to sit up straight, took the bowl, and began eating slowly, one bite at a time.

The bowls weren't large, and she hadn't eaten in a while, so she managed three bowls without feeling too full. But by the fifth bowl, she felt stuffed. By the seventh, she was nauseous.

The plain porridge was tasteless, and she already felt unwell, making each bite harder to swallow. Her brow furrowed more with every mouthful, and her pace slowed.

Meanwhile, Mo Lengxi sat leisurely on the couch, watching her struggle to continue eating even though she was clearly at her limit.

By the twelfth bowl, Lin Yueyue couldn't hold it in any longer. She slipped out of bed, ran barefoot to the bathroom, and threw up all the porridge she'd just eaten.

"Only twelve bowls and you're already like this? What are you going to do about the remaining eighteen?" Mo Lengxi stood behind her, his tone mocking.

Lin Yueyue wiped her mouth. "Don't worry about it."

She staggered back to the bed, determined to continue drinking the porridge. For the next while, it was a cycle of drinking and vomiting. By the time she reached the twentieth bowl, her face was as pale as a ghost, and she could barely stand, yet she insisted on finishing the last ten bowls.

"Enough!" Mo Lengxi couldn't watch any longer. He shouted angrily, grabbing her wrist and pulling her back to the bed.

Lin Yueyue struggled to get up and reach for the porridge bowl.

Mo Lengxi pinned her hands above her shoulders, leaning over her, his gray eyes stormy. "Are you trying to kill yourself?"

"Of course not!" Lin Yueyue had no strength left to struggle, so she didn't bother. She looked up at Mo Lengxi fearlessly.

"Then why keep drinking?" Mo Lengxi was at a loss for the frustration he felt.

"Because it's still better than being around you!"
