C9 Once Again Captured!
When Lin Yueyue saw the tall, handsome man in front of her, she felt like her head was about to explode. Damn it, this inexplicable man just wouldn't go away. Why did he always show up whenever she was looking for Mo Jingxuan?
"Let go of me!" Lin Yueyue struggled desperately.
"Let you go? We haven't settled our issues yet. Do you really think I might let you go?" Mo Lengxi sneered, his lips close to her ear, his voice cold and filled with anger.
Their issues?
Lin Yueyue didn't understand. She had already said she hadn't had a child, so why was this man so persistent?
As she was thinking, she caught a glimpse of Yecheng already at the car door. Lin Yueyue couldn't care about anything else and bit down hard on the hand gripping her waist.
"Ugh..." Mo Lengxi let out a muffled groan and instinctively loosened his grip.
Seizing the opportunity, Lin Yueyue tried to run. Just as she was about to take a step, her arm was yanked back, and she found herself spun around, her back hitting the cold wall.
"Trying to run?" The icy voice condemned her actions.
Sensing the man's fury, Lin Yueyue knew that force wouldn't work. She had no choice but to plead, "I really have something urgent. Can you let me take care of it first?"
"Are you begging me?" Mo Lengxi's lips curled into a mocking smile.
"Yes. I'm begging you." She would beg anyone but this domineering man who appeared out of nowhere. But...
If she missed the chance to ask Yecheng, she would never be satisfied!
"Heh... but I don't accept."
"You!"
"Take her back."
"Yes, sir." The bodyguards, following orders, flanked Lin Yueyue and dragged her into the car.
"You jerk, you never keep your word. Let me go!" Lin Yueyue struggled desperately.
Mo Lengxi, however, seemed completely unfazed and even a bit amused. "I never agreed to anything, so how am I not keeping my word? Besides, why should I be honest with a woman who lies through her teeth?"
Damn it! Jerk! Manipulative!
Lin Yueyue's small hands trembled with anger as she glanced outside, seeing Yecheng already driving away. Her heart was a mix of frustration and urgency. "You arrogant jerk, what proof do you have that I lied to you? This is illegal kidnapping and imprisonment..."
"Woman! In this city, I am the law." Mo Lengxi's long, deep silver-gray eyes gleamed with an air of superiority and confidence, exuding arrogance and dominance.
Indeed.
In this city, the Mo family could get away with anything, even if it involved something as serious as a life. For them, it was as insignificant as squashing an ant. Lin Yueyue knew this all too well, which is why she disappeared without a trace five years ago...
Before long, a few bodyguards dressed in black escorted her back to that grand, luxurious villa. Unlike last time, this time they directly pushed her into a spacious bedroom.
The room was simply decorated in black and white, yet it exuded a cold, unfeeling atmosphere.
"Miss Lin, please don't struggle needlessly. The gentleman will be here shortly," one of the bodyguards warned before leaving.
But...
Only a fool would sit here and wait for that arrogant man to show up!
With that thought, Lin Yueyue headed straight for the window. Just as she pulled back the curtain, a cold voice laced with sarcasm came from behind her, "Haven't you learned your lesson?"
Her heart skipped a beat, and she didn't dare turn around. Stammering, she explained, "I... I just wanted to let some sunlight in."
"Really?"
The cold voice was suddenly very close. Lin Yueyue's palms were sweaty, and before she could react, she was thrown onto the large bed.
After a dizzying moment, the sight before her made her heart race with fear. She grabbed a pillow, holding it in front of her, and stared in terror at Mo Lengxi, who had clearly just showered. He was wearing a white robe, revealing a well-defined chest.
"What are you going to do?"
"What do you think?" Mo Lengxi looked at her panicked expression, finding it amusing. He had already sent someone to warn her against harboring any rebellious thoughts, yet she dared to openly defy his orders and think about escaping. It was practically a death wish!
"Of course, I'm going to finish what was interrupted before!"
