C2 He’s Finally Saved

The heavens seemed to have listened to Rose’s prayer and gave her a blessing.

A month later, her period was late so she went to the doctor for a check up. It was confirmed that she was pregnant.

She stared at the ultrasound report in her hand. It showed her a small black dot confirming her pregnancy. She couldn't help but cry with joy.

After learning that she was pregnant, Rose was very careful. She decided to moved away and live in seclusion. She endured all the loneliness she felt until she gave birth.

After nine months of pregnancy, she finally gave birth to her baby.

Rose used all her strength and successfully gave birth to a healthy five-pound baby.

After hearing her baby’s loud cry, Rose felt there was finally hope. After the doctor’s examination, they have confirmed that the baby’s blood type was the same type as Wyatt’s, so the blood in the umbilical cord could be used. She had totally forgotten the labor pain she felt for 12 hours, and tears of joy fell when she heard the news.

After all the excitement and exhaustion, Rose finally couldn’t resist the tiredness and she fell into a deep sleep.

When she woke up, she was already on the bed. The nurse noticed it and asked with a smile, “Ms. Linder, you’re awake. Is there anything I can help you with?”

Rose tried to sit up and looked for her baby. Her heart tightened when she didn’t see her baby in the room. “My baby… Where’s my baby?”

The nurse saw her struggling so she helped her by putting a pillow on her back. She calmly told her, “Don’t worry Ms. Linder, they took your baby for a bath.”

Rose felt relieved and said, "Thank you."

Even though the birth of this child was an accident but at same time a necessity, she still gave birth to him so she would shower him with all the love she had.

The door of the ward was pushed open and a cheerful voice could be heard, “Sister, I’m here!”

"Naomi?" Rose smiled lightly when she saw that it was Naomi who visited her.

Naomi gave the fresh flowers and fruits to the nurse and stayed at the bedside to accompany Rose, “I knew you missed me, so I came to check on you.”

Rose looked at her sister with a soft gaze, “Thank you for visiting. It’s so lovely to see you here.”

“I brought a few things for you, like those flowers and fruits, and also this chicken soup.” Naomi poured the chicken soup into a bowl for her sister, “The elderly say this will help you regain your strength faster. You should drink this sister. I know you’ve done your best for Wyatt.”

"Naomi, what is Wyatt’s condition? I want to see him.” Rose drank a few mouthfuls of chicken soup.

To avoid rumors, she went into seclusion and gave birth to a child secretly. She had not returned home and she hadn't even visited Wyatt for almost a year now.

"The doctor said that he’ll be preparing to perform a surgery on Wyatt so he will get better soon. The first thing I’ll tell him after his surgery is that his illness can be cured all because of you. So he needs to get better quickly and ask for your hand in marriage. I can also be your bridesmaid, so I can be a part of your happiness.” Naomi held Rose’s hand and kept a charming smile.

She hadn't even thought about getting married yet. Would she and Wyatt even have a future after giving birth to this child?

Rose mulled it over and drank the chicken soup.

"Sister, you must take good care of your body, since you just gave birth to your child. I’ll come and pick you up to see Wyatt once you're better. Just relax, I’ll watch over him while you're still recovering.” Naomi reassured her sister with a smile and didn't even noticed Rose’s upset expression.

She reached out and gently patted Naomi’s hand, “Thank you, Naomi, for taking care of Wyatt for me. I know it’s been hard for you too.”

"I don’t mind. It’s my duty to take care of Wyatt for you. We are biological sisters. I’ll be happy if you’re happy, because you are my only sister.” She lightly laughed.

After 40 days of suffering and waiting, Rose could finally leave the private center.

Just as Rose was carrying the child out of the private center, a large group of reporters surrounded them.

Camera lights kept flashing and the microphones of the reporters were set up in front of her like long spears.

"Ms. Linder, you disappeared during the year Mr. Young was seriously ill, and recently it was discovered that you had secretly given birth to a child. Is this a congratulatory gift for Mr. Young, who was just discharged recently?” The reporters’ words were full of mocking.

"How many men did you have, Ms. Linder? It has nothing to do with us if you'd like to have a few children. However, your fiancé, Mr. Young, has something to do with it."
