C3 Humiliation

Rose tried her best not to cry — she couldn’t deny the existence of her child. "Wyatt, please let me explain first. I have my reasons."

"Enough! I don’t want to hear your excuses." Wyatt withdrew his gaze and took away the warmth he had given her before, leaving behind nothing but coldness. He then announced, "Listen to me. I, Wyatt Young, am breaking off my engagement with Rose Linder. From now on, we have nothing to do with each other."

After hearing those words, Rose felt her heart was crushed. She stared at Wyatt who was just meters away from her, but she already felt that they were separated by thousands of miles.

He continued saying, “I want to take this opportunity to thank someone who stayed by my side when I was still suffering from my illness. She has always taken care of me and motivated me to get better.”

While he was saying this, Wyatt’s face was filled with gentleness and longing. Unlike his attitude towards Rose earlier, he was like a completely different person now — a man in love.

After Wyatt’s speech towards the reporters, he opened his car door and gently offered his hand to the person inside. A delicate hand was placed on his palm, and he gently helped that person out of the car.

The girl who just got out of the car was Naomi. She was wearing a light pink dress that looked like it came out from a fairytale. Her skin was like jade, a pair of eyes that seemed like it expressed a lot of things, and a brilliant smile like a blooming spring flower.

She stood perfectly beside Wyatt, like the two of them were a perfect match.

"Naomi, thank you for not giving up on me and motivating me to get better.” Under everyone’s gaze, Wyatt suddenly went down on one knee. “Naomi, will you marry me and accompany me for the rest of my life?”

Wyatt was holding a diamond ring that reflected a dreamy and colorful light under the sunlight. The pure 6.6 grams of diamond would make everyone envious.

"Say yes! Say yes..."

"Marry him! Marry him..."

Naomi was touched, her eyes filled with tears of joy. She looked at Wyatt with loving eyes, but she hesitated to say yes to his proposal.

Rose looked at the seemingly innocent and harmless Naomi, in addition to sneering, she felt a jolt in her heart.

Naomi bit her lips, tears were sliding down her cheeks. She still looked lovely and charming.

"Tell me, do you like me?"

A loud slap landed on Rose's face. The slap left a red mark on her face, it was a shocking sight.

"Rose, you didn’t treasure Wyatt, so don’t blame Naomi for getting Wyatt’s heart. She’s your biological sister… How can you say those words to her? Are you trying to anger us to death?” Her mother, Riley Ramirez, scolded her ungrateful daughter.

"Dad, Mom, why are you here too..." Naomi blushed and her tone was like a spoiled child.

"If we didn't come here, how can we defend you?" Greyson looked at Rose angrily and wanted to strangle this eyesore. "Don't worry, no matter what she says, Dad won't believe her. "But Dad, sister need us the most right now. She only did those things because she was confused. We should still help her." Naomi 'kindly' advised their parents.

"Why should we help her? No one would ever help her since she willingly did those things!" Greyson snorted. He patted Naomi's shoulder and softly said, "We are fortunate that you've never let us down, Naomi. As long as you and Wyatt are together in the future, we will feel at ease."

"That's right, our Young family will never accept such a shameless woman like her. She is not worthy to be with Wyatt!" This time, it was Wyatt's father, Carter Young, who also chose Naomi.
