C5 Her/His Father

Alejandro choose a high-class restaurant. He's obviously used to eat here because of respect shown on the eyes of the waiters.

"Family VIP Room I booked" he said while his posture showed that he is a rich man. His temperament cold to other but gentle when speaking to Candice.

"This way, please" the waiter lead them to the booked room. It is located on the second floor of the building while the first floor is general dining area for those who couldn't afford expensive food.

Aubrey and Candice followed behind Alejandro. They entered the Room 202. A dazzling chandelier appeared in front of them while the roundtable has various dishes and delicacies.

Candice's lips hooked up after her eyes gazed around the room. She felt please of Alejandro's treatment on them. They walked towards the roundtable. Alejandro pulled the seat and let Candice sit on it. Then, he sat beside her while his eyes turned gentle. There's no awkwardness in his eyes but longing.

"You have family, right? Will it be okay for us to stay in Rivera Mansion or not? My mother's status is incomparable to your wife. She will be treated as a mistress. How can you solve this?" Sandra asked and sounded like a concern towards her mother's status inside the Rivera Mansion.

"I have the final say in Rivera Mansion" Alejandro answered without further explanation. Sandra frowned because of her father's easiness.

Candice sternly looked at Sandra but Sandra pretended that she didn't see it. She continued on asking more questions either sensitive or not.

"Your time is focusing on managing the Rivera Corporation. How certain you are that my mother will not be mistreated?" while eating the sweet pudding. The waiter put it in front of her and her eyes lit up but controlled herself while she still keep on probing.

"There's no need for you to concern about that. All I need from you, is to focus on your studies. As my only son, you must be on top of the food chain in your school. As I aged, I will set you as my heir. We're patriarchal family so we don't give the position of a heir to the daughters. If you're not here, I will be looking for a suitable candidate to marry your first elder sister and inherit the Rivera Corporation" he directly pinpointed his plan.

Sandra smirked. "Have your daughters know about this?" she asked and start eating the main dish.

"I will tell them after you enter the Rivera Mansion" his tone showed firmness on his decision.

"In other words, they haven't know about our existence yet. Do you think they will accept us immediately after we robbed them of their rights on the throne?" Sandra nonchantly said. It sounds like she's asking but stated the fact.

Alejandro halted and looked at Sandra. "I never know that you are this perceptive, Sandro" He said and his eyes glowed brightly like he picked up treasure.

"Anyone can see the outcome if ever it happens, FATHER" she emphasized the word 'father' while her tone brought her cunningness.

Alejandro continued eating while Candice smiles after hearing his compliment on Sandra.
