C8 Sandro

Rico walked towards the surveillance room to check which room did Sandra come out. He found the room but when he entered, everyone's eyes are on him. He doesnt care as long as he sees her again.

"Rico, what are you doing here?" Ceres asked with a glass of wine on her hand. She shook the glass gently while looking at the man in front of her.

So, his gaze swept through around the room but he didn't see Sandra at all.

"Do you know Sandra Pangilinan?" Rico asked while there's impatient showed in his eyes as he looked at Ceres.

"Sandra Pangilinan?" Ceres's eyes turned blank. She knows someone who have a name 'Sandra' but she doesn't know her surname at all. They didn't ask because of Sandra's words that her family is complicated.

"Sandra Pangilinan? We have a friend named Sandra but we don't know her surname. We don't further ask about her family because every time we intend to ask she always pretended she didn't hear us. Why?" Feline said as her eyes glowed like she caught a secret to gossip.

Ceres returned to her senses after hearing Feline's words.

Rico sighed and left.

"Wow! Who's that handsome guy?" Feline asked to Ceres.

"He's Rico Reyes and the third child of Reyes Family. The kidnapping spread like a wildfire after the military rescued him. It was also said that there was a girl with him at that time. The girl went missing because she left the hospital without saying farewell to him and searched her whereabouts but failed" Ceres said as she sipped in the alcohol while Feline gasped after hearing Ceres's words.

"Ceres, is he referring to Sandra we know?" Feline asked but Ceres shrugged her shoulders.

"Anyway, which session you enrolled in Divonne Academy?" Feline changed the topic after she felt strange of Ceres's behavior.

Ceres think about it. She planned to enroll on Morning class session but her father told her to enroll in evening class session because her father said that she must learn to handle the family business but Rico's presence wavered her.

She knows Rico since primary school because of his charisma and talent. At that time that her friend introduced her to Rico for a blind date. She fell in love at first on him while he played piano gracefully. However, she knows she doesn't have a chance to be with him because Rico is not the type of man to be easily caught by a woman by just single words or flirts.

She gave up until she was speechless of their second encounter this time. She didn't say it to Feline but Feline's instincts struck after having a short words with Rico.

"If I were you, I should give up wholly. Otherwise, you couldn't get up" Feline patted on Ceres's shoulders.

"There's also a big possibility that Sandra Pangilinan he is looking for is our friend Sandra. We don't know her surname right? So, thats what I think" Feline said as she felt pity for her friend.

Ceres sighed and nodded. "Yeah, you're right! And I shouldn't change just because of mere puppy love!" As she exclaimed and drink a glasses of wine.

On the other side, Sandra staggered as she walked on the side streets, leading to her home. She felt strange earlier when Rico gripped on her hands. It was like Rico is holding tightly on her heart and unwilling to let it go.

Also, after hearing that Rico already have a fiancée, she felt that her heart shattered to pieces. She shook her head of this unexpected feeling. She decided to forget it but when she reached home (the house with her mother before), Rico's silhouette still lingered in her mind.

She changed her clothes into tee shirt and pair of pajamas. She slammed herself on the bed while her eyes looked blankly on the mirror beside the bed. She saw herself on the mirror.

She saw her feminine side. Her short curly hair, red rosy lips and cheeks, wide forehead, pointed nose and big eyes. She inherited this genes from her parents, Candice and Alejandro, but she looks like Alejandro's female version.

She laughed at herself. What a luck! With this looks, no one will doubt that she is Alejandro's child with Candice. Unfortunately, she needs to disguise as a boy for wealth as planned by her mother.

Why is she still obeying her? She still hopes to feel her mother's affection even though she knows it is all because of wealth.

She sighed and thought, "Why am I born with this kind of family?"

Suddenly, Rico's silhouette again emerged out of her mind. She pulled out a pillow and covered her face as she tried to erase him from her mind but that silhouette insists on staying there like a glue.

"ARGHHHH!!" she exclaimed and stood up from her bed. She walked towards the kitchen and looked for a food in order to divert herself from thinking of Rico.

But her lips twitched when she saw the fridge emptied.

"What an irresponsible mother!" she shouted and slammed the fridge's door.

She walked out of the house to look for food. Her drunken mind earlier faded away after trying to forget Rico in her mind.

It is already midnight. She walked kn the side streets while looking around to look for a stool to eat but found none at all.

As she continued looking, she saw an open restaurant and remembered the card that Alejandro gave to her. She entered the restaurant. The waiter greeted her politely as she walked in. Her good looks didn't show that she was poor girl. She looks like a daughter of an aristocrat family, thanks to her mother's fashion sense. Even though, her mother abused her to the point she fainted, her clothes don't look shabby at all and her clothes are expensive than average family's income.

She doesn't know where her mother got a money to buy clothes but she has a feeling that it didn't come from good job. She didn't ask her mother's job at all. If she showed interest on her mother's privacy, her mother will certainly abuse her again and again.

Her mother also didn't interfere on her life except for money-making and buying some alcohol drinks.

She ordered three plates of food but expensive ones. Anyway, the money is from her so-called father.

She waited for the food so she looked outside the window with her palm on her chin. The tall buildings illuminated the night. There are some people walks on the road with others. It looks peaceful.

Unbeknownst to her, Alejandro hired a bodyguard without telling her. Fortunately, she was used to wearing a boy's clothes and almost of her clothes are for men.

The bodyguard sat behind Sandra without alerting her as he also ordered a food in order to look like a customer. Well, the bodyguard must not let himself reveal to their young master.

Sandra sighed while her heart gave up on trying to erase Rico's silhouette and allowed it to enter her heart. She felt her heart throbbed fast while thinking of those moments with Rico inside the abandoned house.

Since, she couldn't forget him then she will do her best to win his heart with sincerity.

The food arrived and she ate it as she felt satisfied with herself and realized that it is quite good not to block herself from loving Rico. Anyway, their encounter inside the abandoned house is the first step of their love journey, right?

She smiled as she thought of this and finished the food. As she walked out, she was stunned of the sudden appearance of the black suited man but immediately understand after she saw him opening the car door.

She patted her chest with relief because fortunately, she still wears a boy's clothes.

'Damn! I think I don't have a chance to become Cassandra Pangilinan for now' and leaned on the window as she looked outside.
