C16 The Impressive CEO of Promising Group

When Amy arrived at the entrance of the Promising Group, her heart was already beating fast. This was her dream company, but she would encounter that cheapskate here in the future. What else could she do? She didn't know which department he was from. She must not be assigned to him.

Before going through the entrance, Amy prayed silently, hoping that the heavens could hear her wish.

"Isabella? Are you also here to report today?" When Amy saw that her best friend had also come, she felt a bit more confident.

"Hello, Director Walker. I am Amy Miller. I'm so glad to be in your team." Amy Miller bowed to Director Walker.

"Well, okay. Not bad. Come in with me. You can sit there." Director Walker pointed at a table.

That table was the most inconspicuous seat in the entire office. When the executives visit, they wouldn't be able to see the table. However, Amy liked it very much because it was close to the window.

After Director Walker finished speaking, she went to deliver the documents for the executives' meeting. Amy busied herself tidying up her new table. After that, she felt a little thirsty.

"May I ask where the tea room here is?" Amy asked the woman sitting beside her.

"The tea room is just around the corner on your left. There are disposable cups inside. I see that you did not bring anything today. You can go there to get it." the woman said warmly.

"Okay, thank you." Amy followed the instructions and went to the tea room.

After getting a cup of water, Amy Miller bumped into someone.

"Amy Miller?" asked the person whose clothes were now drenched.

Amy wanted to apologize, but when she heard that person's voice, she was tempted to throw the remaining water on him.

"Amy, why are you here? Did you say something to the CEO of Promising Group? Why did he go back on his word about the matter we discussed earlier? " When Mason Gasper saw that it was Amy, he grabbed her arm.

Amy raised her head and glared at Mason.

"Mason Gasper, you really think too highly of me. I just came to report in today. I haven't even seen what the CEO looks like. Let go of me!" Amy struggled with all her might.

Amy opened her eyes and saw a tall and well-built figure in front of her. She looked at Mason again. That twisted expression on his face made her want to kick him again.

"Mr. Carter, Mr. Carter, it's not me, it's this crazy broad. She keeps pestering me after I already divorced her. She even chased me to the Promising Group." Mason's arrogance went out the window when he saw that it was Richard Carter before him.

"I don't care what happened to you in the past. You're in my Promising Group now, yet you dare beat up my employees?! Mason Gasper, you should leave. Now. Don't bother coming back to Promising Group. I'll ask your father to get someone else to talk with us about your Gasper Group's business." After saying that, Richard Carter turned around and left.

After Richard Carter left, Amy was no longer thirsty. She wanted to thank Mr. Carter, but he walked so fast that she didn't have the chance to chase after him at all.

Amy could only return to her table. At this time, Director Walker had already returned and she assigned work for Amy.

Amy was greatly inspired to work now. Today, the CEO of Promising Group had come out to help her deal with that scumbag. She had to work hard in this company. Only then could she have a good relationship with the CEO who helped her.

After lunch with Isabella, Amy went back to work.

"Amy, sign this contract. From now on, you will be an official employee of the Promising Group." At this time, Director Walker presented the contract to Amy.

After signing, Amy handed the contract to Director Walker. Director Walker took the contract and Amy returned to her tasks. She had to get familiar with her responsibilities as soon as possible and serve the Promising Group well.
